Getting Jackson at 49 is a steal because he adds another dimension to the recieving corps with his ability to stretch the field and he gives the Eagles long-awaited exsplosiveness in the punt return game. Trevor Laws also could turn out to be the best DT taken in the draft considering his production and consistancy at N.D. I am also excited about the depth Lorenzo Booker adds giving the Eagles another explosive guy out of the backfield. Add to that a (hopefully) high first round pick in 09' and I think the Birds did extremely well for themselves today.
Well, one thing i have to say, is that where did everyone hear he is 5'9"?
nfl.com says 6' even.Magic, Cal's football program listed him at 5'11 last year, but at 5'10 the year before. Consensus around Berkeley was that he was about 5'9. 5'10 tops. And probably closer to 165 lbs than 172, which is where he's listed. Fast as lightning, though.
how hard can it be to really measure someone's height?
all you need is a damn measuring tape... lol.
as for his height, if he is 5'10" or so, that's not a problem. most males continue to grow in height until they are 24-25 he's maybe 21-22? he might still add an inch or two, if he does, then we will have one hell of a receiver later on down the road.

Do we have a # 1 receiver? I think teams will only have to commit a long snapper to "Down Town Reggie Brown"!
i agree, i don't think anyone is worried about our #1 and #2. hell, if jackson lined up in the slot i daresay the defense would be more worried about him.
