Carlos Zambrano will win the Cy Young this year -

	Carlos Zambrano has looked more mature and more controlled this year. He is walking very few batters and striking out many of them. He is playing for the surging Chicago Cubs who lead the majors in run scored so the Big Z is going to get plenty of run support. Not as if he needs it though, Carlos has given up 2 or fewer earned runs in 3 of his 4 starts. A few other pitchers will be deserving, but when its all said and done Carlos Zambrano will recieve the Cy Young Award!

	Why is this relevant to anything Cardinal Nation? We've had lots of pitchers do it. Maybe not this year, but you never know. Oh and the Cubs are the Cubs and Zambrano is Zambrano. He is a perfect fit for their team.

	Good point gravitywin. Why is this even on our board. Who cares. I believe it was the Cardinals who had a player by the name of Bob Gibson who was so good that they lowered the mound because he was so dominating. Go post this crap on the Cubs board.

	He's looking good so far but, he is Zambrano at some point he will break . I don't see him getting the Cy Young this year or ever for that matter.

	I totally agree with my fellow Cards fanmates on their replies. What is this supposed to do with the price of eggs in tin buck two? Remember the year 1985? Remember the Cards had not one but 2 20-game winners? They were John Tudor and Joaquin Andujar. Since when has your Cubbis team had that in recent memory? Who cares if "Big Z" wins about 20 games. Besides maybe Marmol, the rest of your teams rotation stinks as far as I'm concerned. Just give it time dude. "Big Z" will start getting less and less run support as the season goes on. Besides, what about some other stud pitchers in the NL? Remember Brandon Webb? Remember that the Mets now have Johan Santana? Remember that our Cardinals have Adam Wainwright and still have recent Cy Young winner Chris Carpenter? What the he** makes you think that "Big Z" will win the Cy Young this year? Just because his name is Carlos Zambrano? I'm sure the voters could give a skunks care less what his name is or even who he pitches for. 	Not to mention 68 that Arizona has the best starting staff in baseball with Brandon Webb and Dan Haren at the top of the rotation. Wainwright will have at least one Cy Young in the next 5 years maybe 2 if he continues to develop. You got Hudson and Smoltz in Atlanta, we could debate this forever. And why is this even on our message board??? Do us a favor and keep your own topics on your own board and don't come back til you win a WS in like another 100 years!!!! freak5

	Too bad we gave up Haren for Mulder :( I don't think Zamrano will win - I think Webb will. He should win 20 games though.
