	I must say I am pretty surprised at the pick. A center? What do you think? I was sure we would go after DE or something of that nature because of our depth. With Freeny going down last season our defense really wasn't able to be as effective. THOUGHTS??? GO Colts!!!

	I knew we wouldnt get a DL... about a million DL were picked before we were up so there is absolutely no one left that is worth even a third round pick. I was expecting a skills player on O but also knew the Colts would surprise me and pick something I didn't see coming. I did not expect this but it does not really surprise me. He will play this year and will take over when Saturday retires... I like the pick. I did want Rice from Rutgers to still be around... I thought he could backup Addai and be a good PR/KR guy. But oh well. -Wobbie

	I've posted all along saying we needed to draft Jeff Saturday's replacement in this draft. I think this kid will play guard this year, and have a year or two with Saturday to learn the offensive line calls as a center. Genius pick, IMHO.

	This guy is money in the bank. Mike Pollak was the highest rated C according to many expert ranking of the draft. He was the top O-lineman available in the draft at the Colt's pick and was a need. I can easily see this guy taking over when Jeff Saturday retires. + He also can play some guard. A smart pick from the draft savvy Colt's, who need to get Bruce Davis tomorrow!

	In an interview, he said the Colts intend to play him at guard for a while. Who knows, he could replace Scott right away...????

	You know, now that I think about it, he's not a replacement for Saturday or Scott. Gandy is a UFA after this season. So they took the best OL available to them so they don't have to re-sign Gandy. They'll re-sign Saturday, and have Diem, Ugoh, and Lilja under contract for awhile. I'm thinking this is the last season you see Gandy in a Colts uni.

	Polian said he's Scott's replacement. Still, Dylan Gandy probably isn't expecting to get paid by the Colts now.

	Mike Pollak was a great pick by the Colts. He is definitely the best center in this year's draft and he will provide a replacement for Jake Scott after he went to the Titans. Pollak is one tough dude as evidenced by his 460 bench press and 540 squat. The Colts continue their string of draft successes and I hope that this trend continues through tomorrow and future drafts. Next year, their OL will look something like this: T: Tony Ugoh T: Ryan Diem G: Ryan Lilja G: Mike Pollak C: Jeff Saturday That's a nice OL and they will be able to protect Manning. Another nice pick by Indy. Go Colts!!!
