This guy is 6'6" and 260lbs. He is this big and is not much of  a blocker. He may have been the 2nd best TE in the draft, but we did not need him. Forgeting Fasano wont be hard as we have Jason Witten. Celebrate a wasted pick. He should have chosen me, I would have signed for the league minimum.

And anybody know anything about this TE? How fast is he? I'm wondering if he could be made into a WR. He is fast but not always as fast as his 40 time. He is a very good redzone threat cuz he used to play bball he can go up and get the ball. also he isnt afraid to play in the middle and isnt afraid to take a hit. I really dont think you could make him into a WR just because of his speed. He doesnt have enough break away speed to be 1 but u never kno he has the potential to became 1,, its just the speed aspect of it

To all the Aggies fans,

No one is trying to dump on A&M. He is has great hands and will be a redzone threat. Even with the trade of Fasano today, backup TE  in the 2nd round was not the need to adress. WR, S, DT should all have been before backup TE. He is not going to take Wittens job and we will be spending to much money on that position.

Well, don't give up hope yet. It is an, uh, possibility that Doucet is around at 92.

This solidifies to me that they must have something up their sleeve. Look for a big trade soon involving a veteran wideout. Stay tuned.

yeah i dont know about this one fellas....it just doesnt make sense....if we thought we needed another TE then why did we trade fasano? i just dont know if we got the best pick possible with that one. but i have to trust jerry. this guy seems to be more physical and with more speed than fasano so maybe he is looking more for the future.

jerry said he wasnt going to draft a wr in the first few rounds because he felt that there wasnt anyone out there that could make an impact right away, so we go out and get a physical big bodied TE who can block but also has the speed to get some linebackers out of the pictures so...i guess overall it could be a pretty good pick....i still rate our draft as an A. still a little undecided about this pick though

What can we offer for a veteran wide reciever at this point and who?? I cant believe we passed on DUCETT he was considered one of the top WR's in the country last year when he played with Dwayne Bowe. I just dont get it can someone tell me whats so super about this a&m guy??

THAT WAS OUR WR PICK!

the value of wr just went down the tubes with what like 10 or 12 wrs going in the 2nd round (i am just guessing there)...looks like they went with best available athlete---what do you want a 4th or 5th WR or 2nd TE (this guy could see the field on half our offensive plays)---and he looks like a freak in the highlight package...

if they don't go wr next (which is now turning into more of a project---which is still fine with me cuz I am not excited by hurd or austin) in the 3rd they may just bail on the whole wr concept at this point...you gotta figure though with all the teams that went WR in the 2nd only a couple of them will go wr in the 3rd so they may have 3 or 5 (2nd tier guys) that they hope to fall back through to them---

if nothing there go best available OL then stock up on special teams from there on---maybe a back up QB if there late

i am thrilled with what they did---and I have a feeling we may become HUGE fans of the two TE formation in the near future---this is real good for ROMO---
