The Giants would not trade him to a division rival unless they truly thought Shockey could destroy their team. Besides, by just picking up Pacman, the Cowboys will have their hands full keeping him in line.

Witten is already a far superior tight end and no headaches. Let him go to a team like Seattle who has NO tight end and see if he can become a real player, not a limelight hog who only shows up when the mood suits him.

If he is complaining about his role in New York, why wouldn't he also complain when he is competing with T.O (80 catches) and Witten (almost 100 catches)? I think with Tony Curtis developing (but with Anthony Fasano on his way out, probably to Miami) we are definitely set at TE.

i'm not that familar with the Cowboys offense but the times I did see them I can't remember them running too many (if any) 2 tight end sets.....so why would they trade for shockey?...

No I can not see Dallas going for him. Whitten is a star and if Dallas is looking for someone to share time and give him breathers then I would take a TE in the late draft. There are about ten TE's that will still be around come the fifth round that would make good back-ups and be good talent for Whitten to work with and bring up.

there is no way the Giants would trade Shockey to the Cowboys. Plus i don't even know if Jerry Jones would accept because they have Jason Witten. That would be a horrible move if they do except too, because then they would be giving up who/whatever for no point at all.

LOL.. Shockey in DAL? Common man! First, you have to run a Double tight-end offense more than 50% of the time.. which you do not... Second, there are not enough balls to go around for something like that.. Your guys are on a spending orgy . ... I'm a Skins fan, and one of our biggest and most ignorant fans is the our owner, .. your organization is starting to remind me of the Skins like 5 years ago, when they signed everyone.. In years past, Jones has at least signed guys that could still play. Here in Dc area we are just hoping you guys sign Ocho - de- cinco... only because you guys will internally emplode! I wouldn't put it past Jones, but I don't see it as a good fit.... Look for Danny boy to make some retarted trades today.

Haha, Shockey is a punk no matter where he ends up. I can't believe no one has mentioned the Raiders. Talk about a perfect fit. I would laugh if Dallas took him. It would just give me one more reason to hate the Cowboys.
