Thank God they are allowing their coach to do his job and stay away from the phone.  I don't think the NCAA will give them a very harsh sentance unless the kids GPA is way too low.  Any word on the firings of Greenspan and the president; sorry can't remember his dumb assed name currently.  I think Crean is the right guy finally, he will get IU back to where they need to be.  Anyway go IU and thanks for stopping.

I agree that this is a good thing, and the presidents name is McRobbie.

Nothing's going to happen to the current president; McRobbie's been in place for less than a year.  Adam Herbert was the president of IU during the time period where Sampson was hired and he's already long gone.

First IU hired a cheating coach.

Then the cheating coach broke NCAA rules.

Now IU is breaking their own self imposed rules.

The high and mighty standards of IU have been lost in the wake of lusting over more W's.

Tom Crean IS the RIGHT coach.  For MARQUETTE!

I hope he fails miserably at IU.  What's he doing leaving a Big East team for a Big Ten team, anyways?

Clearly a downgrade here!

Have fun is Hoosierville, traitor!

How can IU do this and not think the NCAA is going to frown on it. They self imposed these sanctions. Supposedly to lessen the penalties that the NCAA will impose. What will the NCAA do when they see that IU was not sincere with their own sanctions? They are making a mistake for sure. The sanctions were not on the head coach, the sanctions were on the basketball program. I think they are making a huge mistake.

Uhhhhhh.......how many NCAA titles does Marquette have?  Ok, how many Big East titles?  Now you might understand why he left Marquette.
