the guy is at the moment hitting .333 with 5hr--batting 6th most nights in Tampa's pretty good offense. He has 1B,CI and OF eligibility in my roto leagues. Do you trust these numbers, or are they just a tease???

Trust me, this guy is a classic April warrior.  Every season, the early waiver wire explodes with the likes of Xavier Nady, Eric Hinske and other players who are destined for mediocrity.  Take a flier on someone else off the waiver wire, like an Erick Aybar,  or Skip Schumaker, guys with true upside.

within the last  10 days I grabbed both those guys. I would love it if the Angels ever moved Aybar up in the order--but in that lineup I guess he's always going to be a #9 hitter.

ah, casey--I have 8 roto teams, and 1 head to head---I'm always looking to upgrade in the slightest--and Hinske doesn't fit the bill--I just liked him for one of my smaller roster teams because of his multi-position elegibility.

Isn't Lind tearing up AAA right now?  Doesn't that mean AB competition for Hinske if he gets cold for a stretch?
