Well see up in the backwoods we dont know nothin' bout no maps. South is south.

Yea, we won by one point...which is still a win.

No it's not the Bucs fault that the rest of the division sucks but don't make the Buc defense to be all that great being #2 when six of their games are against less than average teams.

Yea we got 41 hung on us by the Saints without out starting quarterback and no pass rush. That's ok we laid an egg there but if you're gonna claim that the Bucs rested their starters for the last month or so then I can bring up the fact the Jags rested their starters against the Texans in week 17, so yea if we had played our starters we probably would have a better record too.

I didn't want to get all nasty and all but you're the one throwing "douchebag" around...so I replied in kind.

Ask any NFL analyst or commentator and they'll tell you Jacksonville > Tampa. It's not that Tampa is a bad team it's just the Jags to most are a better team when you look at youth and depth as well as the on field performances.

So, keep floating the idea the Bucs are a better SB team than the Jags. Knowing Gruden's habits you guys will probably end up 6-10 or 5-11.

well as much as i want o see Jared Allen in purple this year, and as much as i think the Vikings will be improved over last year in all areas i cant help but look at the first half of the season and shake just a bit.

vikings have the hardiest schedule in the NFC and the 4th hardest in the NFL this year. and that is a fact. Sidney Rice was looking good and will only get better with Barnard and Allison i feel pretty good about the receivers. no need to talk about the running situations its covered. when it comes to pass rushers or covering wide -outs a couch will tell you he would rather have an average cover unit and an elite pass rush, with Allen on that line i can see that. don't forget he doubles as a tight end. and as for t-jack i don't for see any problems other then just some rookie misfires. with some receivers that can stretch the field and catch a ball that hits them in the numbers opponents will have to respect the pass and cant stack the box. get burned deep (t-jack is accurate with a big arm) or get burned on the run most coach's will take there chances on the run and protect the deep threat.

but with all that said, and looking at the schedule if the vikings win 9 games this year they may take the north.

Yeah you never know the Bucs could go 6-10. I didn't think we would be as good as we were last year, thats why it's such a great sport any year can be very different than the year before. Anyway to tell you the truth I like to see all the FL teams do well. I always liked the Jags, I mean they got Fred Taylor a Gator for a RB.  The Bucs got a Gator and a Seminole for RB this year, so it will be fun to watch. Plus you guys and the fins are in the AFC so it doesn't really matter to us how you do unless we meet in the Super Bowl, then we would see what's up. Maybe that 1 point would be on my side.

Yea, I like pulling for the Florida teams too...except when you know they play the Jags. How can I hate the Bucs? I'm a FSU guy too (It hurts it hurts) so I like Derrick Brooks (FSU alumn and HOF'er )and they just added Warrick Dunn for the second go around. If the Jags did meet the Bucs in the bowl  (which is in Tampa?) I'd hope that one point would remain with the visiting team, after all you guys have a ring already....and if that did happen FL would be the only state with multiple NFL teams where each team had won a championship.

Congrats on nabbing Allen. Just keep him away from McKinnie and the Love Boat and Allen should be just fine. That Viking defensive line (at least on paper) is flat out scary.

That would be cool to have all the FL teams win a Super Bowl, after all we do have the best players in the land. Yeah Derrick Brooks is my favorite player, I wear his jersey every weekend during the season. I hope Warrick Dunn still has some left in the tank, I think Jon Gruden will use him in the right way to keep him fresh. I'm looking forward to the draft b/c as a Bucs fan we never know what there going to do until the last second. Hopefully we get a stud but only if he fits our mold. I think we'll get a WR in the 2nd round, go for a CB with our 1st pick, then I think we could get a good RB in the 3rd round(Ray Rice would be great) from there we would just take the best player on the board. This could all change if we can pull off a trade for Lito Shepard with the Eagles.

I think the Vikings overpaid for Allen, he's good but if he gets another DUI he could be out for a while.I mean they gave up a #1 and 2 #3's plus are dishihing out crazy cash!!! They better hope he's all good and doesn't get fat and happy now he got paid. He could loose the fire after livin' high on the hog. Maybe now he can afford to get a cab after tearing it up.

Right on, I still think Brooks is still arguably the best OLB in football. Love those FSU alumns. (As a FSU fan I have no choice but to live in the past.)

In most of my mock drafts I've given the Bucs DeSean Jackson from Cal as a heir apparent to Galloway. Although they could use some help at CB even though Barber is still looking good and there's Buchanon and the kid from Penn St. (Zematis?) I can see the Bucs taking a CB, DL or WR in the first then nabbing the other positions in the second and third rounds.

There's no doubting the talent of Allen but man that is a HUGE investment and RISK. Giving up the draft picks and all that money to a guy who is one screw up away from a year long suspension. Makes me nervous just thinking about it. IF he remains clean he's worth his weight in gold.
