Could FSU be in a lower position for you to kick them? Kicking FSU would be like trying to kick the bacteria growing on your kitchen counter. FSU's plight is so drastic that they are rarely mentioned in the news anymore. It is amazing how much more publicity Notre Dame gets for losing to NAVY or Air Force and Michigan gets for losing to Applachian State than FSU does for losing to Wake Forest. I guess the media has come to expect ineptitude from FSU to the extent that it would not even be a big deal if they lost to Duke. At least two years ago, the media could look at FSU and blame all of its problems on Jeff Bowden. Now when JB leaves and the offense exhibits cognate signs of vulnerability and their defense is getting shredded in the 4th quarter of most games, the media has their hands tied behind their back because they do not know who to blame. Do they blame the immortal Bobby Bowden who has more victories than any other coach in Division 1-A history? Do they blame the architect behind argubly the most dominant defense in college football over the last 2 decades in Mickey Andrews? Do they blame their own sensationalistic creation in Jimbo Fisher as he is supposed to be some remarkable OC in their eyes?
I may be the only one who believes this, but Jeff Bowden was just the tip of the iceberg in terms of FSU's problems. Let the red carpet continue rolling for FSU all the way into mediocrity within even their own crappy conference.
