Toughest Game this fall will be.....

Does anybody think we should worry over FSU in Tallahassee, or USC in Death Valley?

I left those two out on purpose because we have recently dominated the Noles, and we have ALWAYS dominated the Coots.

I don't think the Tigers should overlook what will be a tough game on the road against Wake Forest of October 9.  Last season, Clemson probably played its best game of the season against the Deacons in Death Valley.  Other than that, Jim Grobe has outcoached Tommy Bowden and Clemson historically has had trouble on Thursday night games.  Clemson will have its hands full in this mid-season road game after a long home stand.

BC and Florida State on the road and Bama in the Georgia Dome will be huge challenges also.

i think without question it will be the wake forest game.  fsu comes in at a distant second (until they get a qb, i dont worry about them)

georgia tech is going to be god awful this year, plus they are at home.

You are correct sir. I researched the Deacs and found that they return a bunch including Skinner the QB. Thursday night games have been tough for us.

The talent level at Wake has gone up a bit since Grobe's arrival but they are nowhere near Clemson in that regard, and it showed in the whipping we administered last year.It also showed in the way we calmly came out in the 4th quarter of the 06' game and came from behind in dramatic fashion.

I am well aware that Wake is a dangerous team, but talent usually always trumps heart. I gotta think we are at least 10 points better than the Demon Deacons this year.
