Mark Cuban can lick my pooty

...that's assuming he can fit his fat face between the cheeks.

The only reason he voted against it is because he considers OKC part of his market.

I was at the game last week where the Sonics beat the Mavs...the entire game was one long standing ovation of over 16000 fans for a team that has 18 wins in their first 80 games.  The look on Mark Cuban's face when they had to stop the game for five minutes when Gary Payton was announced to the crowd, was like "what the f*** are we doing sending this awesome team/fan base to godforsaken Oklahoma City?"

By the way, everyone bags on Key Arena, but Key Arena is actually a big, nice stadium in a perfect area that the owner's were offered a 300 million dollar refurbishment on...they just want the team in Oklahoma, which is their prorogative, except for the fact the previous owner said he would only sell the team to owner's committed to keeping the team in Seattle (and the owner's lies on this subject are ultimately why this team is going to stay in Seattle...just watch) 

Cuban has this right... Its not because OKC shouldn't have a team, but the way Seattle ownersip has handled this whole fiasco.

Seattle has some GREAT fans. I do not blame them for not supporting a loosing team.

This could have easily been San Antonio moving there if they didn't get lucky and land Duncan a few years back. Its AMAZING to see what kind of support you get from these smaller market teams when you put a winner on the floor.

There is TOO MUCH HISTORY in Seattle... They deserved better that this!

Mark Cuban is an ass. He always has been. He got lucky and made a fortune on an internet deal and now he thinks he is the greatest businessman in the world.

All Mark Cuban is is a greedy prick, he thinks OKC is part of his market when in realtiy Ok could give a crap about the Mavericks. Most Okies don't think too highly of those to the direct south, they can't drive that is for sure.

Seattle is full of cry babies. stop blaming the person who bought the team to bring them to OKC and start blaming those who hold the responsibility for losing the team- Mr Starbucks and the Seattle city government. Its not our fault, its yours. get over it.

That said, I really would have preferred a brand new team for OKC, this nastyness that has transpired will tarnish the new OKC Sonics for the first couple of seasons, then it will blow over.

OKC should have a team, just not this one.  So, show some class for Christ sake while this process moves along.  Chump.

Maybe, but he sticks up for what he believes in.  He comes off as brash and cocky at times so it's not difficult that some people think this way.

I hardly think making billions out in the business world is lucky.  It's not as if he won the powerball lottery or something.  He built a company from the ground up and sold it.  That sounds like a pretty astute businessman to me.

Hello, OKC is part of his market.  Most people is OKC who are NBA fans are in fact Maverick fans whether you think they are or not.  It only makes since considering the logistics.  It's extremely similar to the reason why most people in OKC are Dallas Cowboys fans.

This is definitely in poor taste.  You don't think the people of Seattle have a reason to be upset?  They are losing a team that they have been loyal fans of and following for decades.  You wouldn't have a clue what it's like because a podunk town like OKC has never had a franchise in one of the major sports.  That's ok, you will find out one of these days when OKC is unable to support a major professional franchise.  They will get moved again and you will understand then.

Of course you would say those things. You are a texan. I hate to break it to you but most of us "mobilehomans" are not Dallas Cowboys fans. Sure there many who are, but most of us prefer college football to pros. I don't even like pro basketball. they are all a bunch of overpaid primadonnas. I just don't like how the seattle people are blaming the innocent residents of a chronically overlooked state. I don't like Mark Cuban because he is a dick. he made his billion dollars getting lucky on the internet boom, just like all the others that got lucky. He was just smart enough to save it all instead of blowing it. I do commend him on HDnet, not that it does that well, but I do enjoy HDnet from time to time. I was blowing off some steam at his vote because it was not a vote for seattle, it was a vote trying to keep the land to the north as his territory, which it is not. OKC has everything dallas has to offer and a lot extra, like better drivers that are not so damn rude. I can't tell you how many times I have stopped to help a stranded motorist, quite a few for sure. In texASS, they would just as soon run over you than even slow down for safety. And that means a lot coming from me, because I am an aggressive driver, and the texass drivers piss me off with their apparent lack of turn signals.

I am sorry, the people in seattle have been crying about this since it happened, and they all blame us. the OK residents had nothing to do with it. I don't like Bennett anymore than you do, I think it was a little lame the way he handled it, but its done and the courts will not stop it. I have already said, I really wanted a new team. I don't even like pro basketball and I would support the team, taking my family to a few games here and there. OK can more than support a pro franchise, probably 2. I would prefer football, but B-ball is a start. By the way, the cost of living in OK is one of the lowest in the country and we have everything the rest of the country has, it just doesn't seem to cost as much here. and you know what, there are more trailer houses in texass than there will ever be in OK. And I don't live in a trailer. My brand-new $200K house in the country does me just fine, thanks.

You don't think comments like this anger sports fans of Seattle when it comes to this issue?  It's because of comments such as this along with others such as Seattle didn't support the team, the fans didn't care anyway, etc, etc, etc that are said by OKC people which is why Seattle fans are now showing anger your way.

OKC fans should be writing posts such as it's a shame what happened to Seattle.  They didn't deserve this.  They've shown support for the NBA for 41 years, just built a new arena 12 years ago and this is happening to them.  But, I am excited the NBA is coming to town, just wish it didn't go down like this.

If OKC fans wrote stuff like that and not "Seattle's just a bunch of crybabies", then venom might not be spewed your way.  You keep doing it though and people from Seattle will call your a$$ out on it.

We have written those things. I have posted several just like that. THe problem is that everyone is blaming the residnets of OKC, like we went out and told Bennett to go take the sonics. When I first heard about his plans, I said " yuck, the Sonics? really? Why take them out of Seattle?, we can get an expansion team if the Hornets don't relocate here"

Its true. I never asked for the Sonics. But I will support them once they are here. It is not my fault Mr.Starbucks sold the team. The team was not being supported by the cuty government or the residents of Seattle in way that they could be a profitable venture. Seattle has pro football, basketball and baseball. OKC has none. Can you really fault us for wanting one? The team will be supported and profitable.

My crybaby comment was in reference to all those saying how much OK sucks and that we are a bunch of redneck hicks that are stupid retards that can barely open a can of tuna. Sorry if I take offense.
