Thee Official get rid of Matt Morris thread. I apologize to those that have made one, if there is one before I came along....

He has just been terrible since day one. You say that you have the tools to be the number 1 starter, HAHAHA you're funny.  Well, if you can get your ERA down to where it was when you were with the Cardinals, then we'll  talk. But, right now, you are just plain terrible. You are not effective, in fact, I don't even know if you are helping our young pitchers out any if at all.

How can you call yourself a leader, when your own stuff is proven ineffective and useless?

You beat me to it IHH, It is seriously making me sick.  If they put him out there against the Phillies it will be a crime against the baseball fans of Pittsburgh.  I honestly don't know what the brass thinks how he will magically turn it around.  His fastball is 85mph with no life, and he has a slow curve.  They could probably bring a guy of the street and lob it in there and it wouldn't be much worse.

This is by far more frustrating than the fifteen years of losing.  Accountability? yeah right.

I sure hope they don't keep him in the rotation long enough for him to lose 20 games.  It will certainly happen if we do.  Morris seems to be fine for an inning or two before he crumbles.  If he is a good presence in the clubhouse maybe the Pirates should move him to the bullpen and cut Meek lose.

I know in my recent post I have said just give him a chance. Well now I'm changing my mind. He's terrible. Plain old TERRIBLE!! After tonight giving up another 7 runs its offical that you suck my friend. And as this game ends it looks like the Bucs will loose their 6th straight. And it also looks like Nates hitting streak is in danger.

I felt coming in to the season that he could be a latter day Bob Walk  6IP 8H 4R 1BB 3K's but he doesn't (and the team doesn't) have a chance to win if he is pitching.  THey have to do something.  They can't automatically lose every fifth game and even win 70.

Please, for the love of god send him to the bull pen!!!  If he does start against Philly I hope he gets shelled again so it doesn't delay the inevitable.

Great, a $10 million dollar bullpen guy on a team that has no money.  I still think David Littlebrain should have to pay a portion of his $10 million dollar salary just for being an idiot.

I can't believe there are still some people in the stands tonight VS the Fish.  (sarcastic comment = must be the all-you-can-eat section)

As A longtime Pirate fan, from the days of Don Hoak and Dick Groat and Dick "Doctor Strange Glove " Stuart , I would not show up at the park today either. Maybe someone should throw a "green weenie" in the dugout ,Everyone would get excited and scream , What the Huck is this!
