the game im worried about is kansas...but it is a home game which helps...if we get by the kansas game we have a chance to go 8-0 before playing cinci......its still a long way away but the end of the schedule looks like make or break time.

One small correction to the schedule - the UCF game is on Saturday, 9/6, not Friday, 9/5.

The schedule is tougher than it looks at first glance.  UCF has something to prove after last year, plus they have the added incentive of having to play well if they want to have any hope of playing USF again in the near future.  Kansas will be ranked, NC State will be tough if for no other reason than we play there, the same with Louisville, and if Pittsburgh can overcome Dave Wannstedt, they have enough talant to play with anyone.

If we are still undefeated when we get to the Cincinnati game, I will be dancing in the streets.

Go Bulls!!!

I agree with you all - our schedule this year is definitely going to be a tough one.

UCF will be a bigger challenge than most people think.  Not because UCF might actually be good, but because our team will mentally have to overcome the temptation to under-estimate UCF after last year.  If we go to Orlando not 100% mentally prepared, UCF could possibly pull out a win because they will have determination if not anything else.

Kansas will be hard for obvious reasons.  Let's bring the same atmosphere to that game as we did to last seasons WVU game and the team should do just fine!

The end of the schedule is definitely make or break time.  It will determine our bowl game and whether or not we can take the conference, and probably even determine whether or not we will finally be taken seriously as a contender.

Looking forward to football '08....Go Bulls!!

I can not wait til we play Kansas at home. That's gonna be such an intense atmosphere.

I know I'm going, it pays knowing alums to get good seats. And to think, I'll be going there in two years.

i think the kansas game is gonna be on par with the WVA game from last year.....awesome!
that said, it is gonna be a TOUGH ASS game for us to win....we had better come with our A+ game.  as for ucf...we do need to go in there prepared but i don't think their team is going to be as good as last year.  we just need to not get sloppy

Yeah you guys do have a difficult season ahead of you. The only thing I would be worried about if I were you guys is how well do you play in the cold.

Oh thanks for viewing us in Cincy as contenders. Those Rutgers fans think we're just a blip on a screen for some reason.

Good Luck in this upcoming season

definately the Kansas game will set the tone for south Florida. both teams should be ranked with Kansas getting at least a Top 15 nod.  Should be a good game an important OOC game for both teams that not many are talking about.

USF can be National Champions THIS Year (it is just very unlikely) they were ranked #2 last year but they let it go to teams they could have beaten (and should have)

We have great potential in '08 & '09 with tons on talented players.

'07 was a great year but ended up breing a rough rollercoaster ride.  We look really strong this year and next and hopefully we take advantage of that.  Getting past Kansas will be a good indicator.  I think we run the table after that till we visit WVU and most likely settle whether WVU or USF will be Big East Champs.

We will be in the spotlight again but this year it should feel natural.

Go Bulls !!!
