I went down to the game. It was a bit dissapointing, but very understandable that almost none of the starters on either side of the ball played. J.J Diluigi and Hafoka both looked very good, but its deceiving because the damage they did was against 2nd and 3rd string defenses. I would expect to see JJ playing some slot for us this season. He looked very much like a Reno Mahe type. I doubt he'll carry the ball much with Unga, Vakapuna and Tonga all returning. I think he would be a great change of pace, slot guy though. Hafoka made a couple of really nice diving and one-handed grabs. Other than that, I'm not sure what else to take from it.
