Any one pitches high and behind. So much can go wrong, thankfully nothing did. For either side

No one on either team had a problem with the pitch so why does the league?

you think no one on the sox had issue with him throwing high and behind their best hitter?  They may play nonchalant for the camera, but someone on the Red Sox will have retaliation on their mind, 4th of Juy Weekend...

I'm sure you meant to say no one on the Yankees side had a problem with the pitch. You just slipped with your wording like Funnysworth slipped with the pitch. Right?

Well put, TheBigF.  Some say that a pitch behind the head is as dangerous or even more dangerous because the initial reaction is to move your head back and that would have been right into the path of this pitch.

I'm betting the Red Sox had major problems with that pitch but had the composure to not  respond now.  In today's game where batters threaten to charge the mound for a pitch that is two inches inside, you might interpret Ramirez' reaction as it not bothering him.  I've gotta believe that is not the case.  If he happens to hit a HR off Farnsworth in the future, it might take him 45 minutes to round the bases ... and Farnsworth will know why.

I was shocked that Manny Ramirez didn't react.  Especially given the history.  Manny is on "happy planet Manny" right now.  He keeps hitting bombs like he has the last couple weeks and the only way to keep from rounding the bases will be to throw at him.
