I think that the GT board has the lowest amount of threads and doesn't even have any polls. Whats the deal with that? Not enough PC knowledged GT fans?

Well not many people like GT. Outside of the students and alumni and those close to them (ie. family and friends) not many actually like us. They all go for UGAy because they are just ignorant sports fans who go for the winning team. On top of the not many people liking GT not many people participate in threads like these. It is sad.
WHATS THE GOOD WORD?!

Maybe we have other/better things to do and are waiting for the season to get started?

Because most of us are too busy earning 1.38 times the average salary of the UGA fans and working our way up the corporate ladder faster as well......  Seriously, most of the GaTech fans are limited to alumni or related to alumni.  As a relatively small school, that number is pretty low.  But wait til the season gets a little closer.... We're an awfully loud, small group.

At Ralph's first Alumni event as the HC at Maryland he put it perfectly, Maryland has more Alumni living withing 1 hour of campus than Tech has alive.  We are NOT a big school.  We have big academics and very solid athletics, but our alumni base is much smaller than most Div schools.

oh yeah, To Hell With Georgia.

I concur. 1.) Smaller school. 2.) Good school. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge football fan. But if you'll notice across the country the most enthusiastic football schools are the ones that have nothing going on for them, or at least have a large contingent of students that really could care less about academics.

That being said, I still enjoy the Georgia Tech fan base, and my fellow yellow jackets. When the season starts and the team does better than average the fans are incredibly loyal. Which is more than you can say for any other team with the consistent types of mediocre seasons we've had.

Hey now I grew up in northern Missouri but I am pure GT at heart.  Would have been in your "alumni" classification as well but I focused on sports more than academics in high school---come to find out at GT you need both if you want to play there....so I went elsewhere.   UGA prolly would have accepted me though
