I am not sure about lineman so let's just stick to the skill positions on offense. Lets go two deep, here is my top two at each position. We can use two tailbacks since we have ran the wishbone in the past.

QB- Quinn Grovey, Clint Stoerner

HB1-Darren Mcfadden, Felix Jones

HB2-Ben Cowins, Madre Hill

WR-Anthony Lucas, Marcus Monk

WR-James Shibest, Derek Russell

TE-Joe Dean Davenport, Kirk Botkin

 K-Steve Little, Kendall Trainer

Please put in your two cents, I am only 38 years old so I don't know many old school players. I had a hard time with the QB because I loved Matt Jones but Grovey is one of the reasons I love the Hogs as much as I do.

What a tough question!  We have had some really good players over the years.  And a lot of good quarterbacks.  I have always thought that Quinn Grovey was very underrated as a quarterback.  What some people don't remember is that he could pass!  And Stoerner was very good, too, but all people remember about him is "the fumble".  Then there's Jon Brittenum and Joe Ferguson.  As for wide receivers, had James Shibest played on a passing team, well, he would have been something.  I always said he had glue on his hands.  Let me give this some thought and I'll get back to you.

I like most of your choices.

You can't mention WRs without putting Lance Alworth at the top.  Arguably one of the greatest ever, although the Hogs didn't use him to his fullest potential as a WR, he was a do everything type of athlete that was ahead of his day.

I would give Joe Ferguson the nod at QB.  There were some other good ones through the years, but he went on to have one of the most successful NFL careers of any Hog.

On the OL, you have to put Shawn Andrews toward the top.  I think you also have to put Jonathan Luigs on there.  Even though he hasn't even graduated, he has a Rimington Trophy to his name.  Also, don't forget Brandon Burlsworth.

On defense, how about Henry Ford, Wayne Martin, Ray Lee Johnson, Billy Ray Smith Jr, Steve Atwater, Ken Hamlin, etc, etc.  The Hogs have had a ton of defensive superstars through the decades.

I know you didn't mention linemen. But some of these guys were amazing in those Cardinal Red Jerseys. Shawn Alexander, Tony Ugoh, Keith Jackson Jr, Jamaal Anderson, Chris Houston, and I think Matt Jones has to get a nod. The guy didn't lead Arkansas to anything amazing...but he sure as hell made things very exciting around here and made some awesome games amazing to watch.

Ole Miss vs Arkansas (7 Overtimes)
Arkansas vs Tennessee (3 Overtimes)
Arkansas vs Texas
Arkansas vs Kentucky (6 Overtimes)
Arkansas vs LSU (Miracle on Marcum (SP))

Those are just a few off the top of my head

Nice list Sports Addict, I never saw Alworth play but I have seen clips and he was awesome! Ferguson was a little before my time but I respect that picks. Thanks for the o'line and D picks! All Solid!
