Yeah, saw it on Panthers.com. I have to say, since i first saw our opponents listed, i have been going back and forth, i think we either finish 12-4 or 11-5. A few tough games on there. I have to say, I am worried about opening vs. San Diego with a new O-Line starting, hopefully they can gel quickly in camp and pre-season. However, once we get past San Diego, we have a VERY favorable schedule up to our bye week, we should hit our bye no worse than 6 and 2.

Second half of season, only the Saints, Bucs, and Giants really have me worried a bit, depending on how draft and all the new FAs work out for those teams, those are the only 3 i see where we could lose so a 6 and 2 or 5 and 3 second half, that is where i get my predicted records for finishing the season. Then of course, we play the Cowboys for the NFC title, and we kick their butts AGAIN in the playoffs and take the Super Bowl, I mean come on, we Love to play in Tampa, and just imagine the cheerleader stories that could come out of that!

Amen to that!  We do have the best cheerleaders in the entire league!  I mean any two hot chicks that wanna get it on anywhere they happen to be, that's alright by me!

TARHEEL TOM thanks for the insight. I just made hotel reservations in Tampa. I really like your thinking on the playoff games.

We start out strong...the Chargers, the Bears and the Vikings and then finish strong with the Packers, the Buccaneers, the Broncos, the Giants and the Saints...all possible playoff teams. But, to be the best you have to beat the best, so bring them on.

Nice to have that bye week right in the middle of the season.

I would love to have a road trip to New York or New Jersey...what a Christmas present. Beating the defending Super Bowl champs in their house on our way to the best record in the league. Doesn't get much better than that.

The first game is horrible to gage the rest of the season by.  It may or may not answer some questions but keep in mind people who start the first game (players as well as staff) don't always play the last game and vice versa.  It may take one or two games for new players to get acclimated and learn plays.  I say by our bye we will know better at what position we are in.
