Blue Jays, that is.
Congrats to Rios for 22 games of hits, heres to 23 game hit streak starting tomorrow. Wells looks to be earning a little more of his salary thus far this season, and 12 games in and we are 2 game above .500. Not a position that we're used to seeing all that often (knock on wood). BJ Ryan back in the mix even though his speed doesnt seem to be back to peak yet (according to MLB.com, 86-88 fastballs?) .
Oh, and the last sentence of the article is wrong. The Blue Jays went into 12 with Oakland on thursday and lost 2-1. Worse short term memory than me.

Jays are looking great.
I wonder how many we'll lose though with Gibby too ignorant to sacrifice to manufacture runs.  He cost us last week in the aforementioned 12 inning affair with Oakland. He did the exact same thing today by not sacrificing when the first two get on in an inning.  3 double plays wiped out big innings.
I feel a ton better with BJ in to close them out, healthy or not.

I was at the game today. The Blue Jays are for real. Their pitching was great. Both teams left a lot of people on base. The Rangers made some great doulbe plays. I wish the Blue Jays fans good luck with the rest of the season. Their 5 starters might be the best in the business.

Umm, actually, Gibbons did that twice in this game, and the second time was in the 10th when they scored the go-ahead run.

Alex Rios didn't get a hit in that game...he went 0-4, so his hit streak is over... and really, I don't see why everyone(Toronto fans) think that the Blue Jays starting pitching is so great, I mean, their top 3 starters are doing alright, but how long do you give A.J. before he goes on the DL?  Then you have another hole you have to fill...Halladay is an excellent pitcher and a true ace, and yes, you do have some guys that have some good talent and are "up and comers", but the fact is, the starting pitching is not the best in the league...top 10, yes, but THE top, or top 3, no, not at all....

Orioles are going to get smoked...that team is awful.  We could easily be 3 to 5 games over .500 going into this series, we just need to capitalize like the Skanks and Blosox usually do.

Toronto is looking good so far, but can they keep it up over the whole year.
