Great game to watch as a Habs fan! Montreal dominated from start to finish and they still have room to improve as Kovalev seemed to do nothing but give the puck away, i'm sure he'll improve. How long do you think this series will go? I'm thinking either 4 or 5 games for Montreal, they are flying and Boston has noway of slowing them down. Thomas might steal one game or at most 2, but Montreal just has too much speed and skill. What do you think?

I'm a Bruin fan, and this is the way I was worried the series would start.  For whatever reason, the Bruins just can't do anything against the Habs.  They may be so psyched out by now that they believe they can't win a game.  And I wouldn't be surprised if they don't.  This could well be a sweep.  Great job Habs, you deserved this win.  As for the Bruins, I still will be cheering for them to pull it out.  But they need to get it going now and get this monkey off their backs.

I put Montreal in 5, but I wouldn't be surprised if they flat out swept Boston.

Thomas left the five hole hole open tonight, but made a number of amazing saves ,and it could have been embarrassingly  score wise, not-withstanding Kovalev missing an open net... Montreal in four, 5 max.

I sat through this painfull event last night and if this keeps up the B"s are done in 4. We here in Boston have been spoiled by the Pats, Sox and Celts and anyone who thought that this series was going to competitive is sadly mistaken. As long as Jacob's continues to own this franchise, this will be as good a it gets. He always spends money but it is foolishly done. Also, does anyone know how Joe Thornton is doing these days. Enough said.

PAINFUL!!  For B's fans that is.  Every Canadiens pass was crisp and complete, every Bruins pass was sloppy and bounced off sticks.  The Habs were flying around like jet fighters and the Bruins were spinning around aimlessly.  Habs even won the physical game.  I barely had time to put on my lucky Terry O'Rielly shirt before it was 2-0.

I put Habs in 4, but that's just becasue I'm still pissed at how bad the Bruins looked.  I think the Bruins will win one or two games, but if they don't turn up the intensity about 5 notches, this one could be over very quickly.

Bruins in 6.

I say that for no other reason than to be contrary!

And if it actually happens I'll be able to say "I told you!" when in actuality I don't believe it for a second....

I think Montreal will win the series but as a Red Wings fan I think it is cool to see two of the original six playing in the playoffs and one of the best rivalries in the sport.
