Now that JJ has left the building, Ron Lee is repositioning the Warrior QB to once again take snaps over center to open up the running game. What are your thoughts about this?

Hopefully this will give us a little more balance.  The threat of the run will also help to take pressure off of whoever ends up being the starter at QB if the new offensive line doesn't play well.

Agreed, the development of the O line is key. The battle for who gets the starting nod at QB, WR and SBs will be intriguing....especially when fall rolls around. Graunke should get the starting nod at QB against Florida but beyond that, who knows?

I also believe Ron Lee wants a straight up the gut running/full back. We need another Nate Ilaoa type runner. I think he'll balance out the UH offense.

That JC transfer Jake Heun can match Ilaoa for size but I don't know if he has the recieving skills that Ilaoa had.  I've seen him around campus lately, he looks like he'[d be more like Travis sims than Ilaoa which isn't that bad if you ask me.

It's gonna give you more balance, but the offensive lineman are way too light.  June Jones' offense was perfect for Hawaii's size and speed.  The reads were easy and the ball was outta there in a hurry to the right guy.
