As the towel boy or the garbage man? Possibly a position as janitor might open up as well.

No...I think he thouroughly wrecked his post-playing career while in NY.  If Joe D feels bad enough for him to give him a job it will be some kind of meaningless assistant job or something like that.  But I don't even see that happening.

He kept saying things last night like " this is OUR home" and how he loves the city...

I dont think he should be hired here for anything.  He could've before he went to the Knicks but the problem was that Isiah wanted a lot of control over decision making (is thats the case then hellll nah we dont need him here).

I think Joe Dumars being the loyal man he is, will give Zeke sumthinto do with the organization.  At this point Isiah isn't in it for the money he just wants to be involved with a franchise he helped build

I could see the Pistons bringing Thomas back to be part of the organization, but I don't see them giving him a decision making power with his proven inability to do it well.  And if that is the case I don't know if he will come back.  And do the Pistons really want sexual harassment cases brought against them?

I don't think the Pistons will bring him on in any capacity for two very big reasons:

1. If I remember correctly he had a bit of the parting of ways with the organization when he retired. They did not want to offer him a job and it offended him, plus the Pistons are big time into loyalty and I don't think Isaiah fits that bill.

2. TOO MUCH BAGGAGE!!! He has been a train wreck as a GM/Coach and he killed the CBA. He obviously also has some issues about working in a professional manner and I don't think the Pistons want any part of him.

Great Player, seems to be not that great of a guy.

I was a fan of Isiah as a player but don't think too highly of him otherwise!  I would not want to see him with the Pistons organization as a coach or in an other capacity.  I know that the organization is very loyal to former players and he does have connections.  I don't remember how he parted ways with the organization as boltzrock mentioned.  I do agree with boltzrock and don't feel that hiring Isiah would benefit this organization.  He was a great player but below average as a GM and coach.

God I hope not, I mean as a player he was sick as hell, sux in a corporate position. I mean i guess he could get a position like scotty bowman has witht the redwings. But If he is put in a spot that makes decisons I see the Pistons going the wrong way.
