I was looking at the injury report and it said Matsui has hemorrhoids.  What's that all about?  Wouldn't you think that they could come up with something else to put the report besides hemorrhoids.  It also says Berkman has a neck injury.  Does anyone know if he'll be playing?

crazy_piump,

I must admit that your post gave me a really big laugh. You couldn't have written it any better!!! GREAT post dude!!!

I totally agree with you. You would think that they could and most likely should have listed Matsui's injury as a PERSONAL injury and only disclosed it to a select few. But to come right out and list it as the "H" word, that has got to be very embarrassing to Matsui. And that's also disrespectful.

As far as whether Berkman will play, I would imagine that they will try to get him in there as much as possible since their bats aren't exactly red hot right now. And with our red hot Cardinals in their town, I would say that he'll be in the game tonight.

GOOOOOOOO Cardinals!!!!    68

Personal injury would have looked a lot better on the report.  I'm gonna look for Matsui sitting on one of those inflatable doughnuts.  Let's try to sweep another series!!!!!!!

Yea that is something I didn't need to know. I forget what game I was watching the other day when they said a player was out with an anal fissure. I'm not sure what that is but i know i don't want it. Can't they just say a player has a strained muscle or something?

I would be pissed if I was Matsui.  That is totally out of line but kind of funny since I'm not an Astros fan.

I'm glad the Cardinals do not have to face Oswalt in this series since he is basically there one and only dominant starter.   One thing that is hard for me to figure out is how Wandy Rodriguez has had so much success against Pujols.  Pujols terrorizes lefties except for this guy.  I have a feeling things are about to change tonight with Sir Albert going deep for the first time this year.  Go Cards!!

Wikipedia says:

An anal fissure is an unnatural crack or tear in the anus skin. As a fissure, these tiny tears may show as bright red rectal bleeding and cause severe periodic pain after defecation.

That sounds very uncomfortable and I wouldn't blame anyone for missing a game because of it.  I wonder what might cause one of those?

The Cubbies have almost blown a 7 run lead vs the Pirates.  Their bullpen is suspect to say the least.  A win in Houston would be real nice tonight!!!!

I've noticed the last few days La Russa has been using Brian Barton alot more than Skip Schumaker. So far Schumaker has looked lost at the plate but brilliant defensively. I like Barton because he gives you some speed at the top of the order plus he is such a versitale defender. The Cardinals rotation has amazed me so far! I know it probably won't last but an Adam Wainwright-Kyle Lohse 1-2 punch thrills me! Plus Rick Ankiel is so locked in right now. If what I have seen over the last week is an indication of what is to come, I love our chances of winning the Central.
