Maybe he has not signed with an agent and if that is how it is he can still change his mind. He clearly is not ready for the NBA.

I find it hard to believe how stupid the NBA players association is. The longer they make kids wait to come into the league the more money and jobs there are for the veterans. David Stern has stated many times he wants to increase the age limit to 20 from the current 19.

The NCAA has no say in this matter as they can not force kids to stay in school.

Most of these kids have way too many bad influences around them as well as fantasies of how good they actually are.

Whatever his final decision is I wish him luck as if he stays in the draft he is going to need a lot of luck.

Hey Big, where was the SEC in the Elite 8, oh, yeah, Louisville beat the best they had to offer by 19.

As long as Earl doesn't sign with an agent, I think he will be back along with TWill.  The predraft camp is just a  way for these kids to gauge where they think they will be picked as well as identify their weaknesses.  That being said, Clark will be a first round pick based on his size, wingspan and athleticism.  All he needs is to add some more meat to that frame which won't happen at Louisville.

Yes, the Big East and the ACC are very overrated.  in the past 10 years the champion has come from:

Big East- 3

ACC- 3

SEC- 2

Big 10- 1

Pac 10- 0

Big 12- 0

and this year's champ of course being in either Conference USA or being the Big 12's first ever national champion.  So yes, the Big East and the ACC are very overrated, they each should have won 15 titles in the past 10 years.

Maybe you were referring to Women's basketball?  But the Big East could win it's 6th title in 10 years this year with UConn.  So either you really know nothing about basketball and just like to hear yourself talk or you really were talking about how no Big East or ACC teams have won the NAIA championship in recent memory.

Louisville a powerhouse? A team that beat them by 10 points just got clobbered by 18. Get real the Big East like the ACC is  overrated because of the elite media on the east coast. Pitino will never win a championship because the type of players he signs  will not stay around long enough to play as a team and teams win championships. The players now days are not like they were 10 years ago. big east and acc overrated??  what are you smoking and where can i get some?  sounds like a bitter uk fan still upset that pitino left.......

I think that Earl could be a 1st round pick. Why? He is a great athlete with an eagles wingspan. He can also rebound with the best of them. Honestly I think that UofL fans are just upset because they are losing a great player who would really help their team next season and I don't blame them for being upset. Best of luck to Earl, I expect him to be a good NBA player one day. Remember that is why players play for Rick Pitino after all, because he can get them to the NBA.

crzytopfan, of course we're upset because we're losing a great player.  but not just that.  he just compounds the problem.  we're losing padgett, palacios, and caracter already.  earl clark was our last big guy.  we're going to be a very undersized team next year and that won't cut it in the big east.

HaHa, Pitino knows all about the NBA? Go talk to the people in Boston about that one. I admit the SEC sucked this year but the Big 12 could handle the ACC and Big East anytime and it show in the tourney. They just don't get the media attention like their softball ACC and Big EAST conferences.

I am not  bitter because Pitino left but because he left us with Tubby. But that all will change in the next couple years. With UK or UCLA status its either win it all or the season is a failure. But sometimes you have to rebuild after the cupboard is left bare.

BIG BROTHER

"I admit the SEC sucked this year but the Big 12 could handle the ACC and Big East anytime and it show in the tourney"

ok so we lost to a ACC team that was ranked #1 overall, but we also beat a good Oklahoma by 30 and beat are only two SEC teams this year, we blew you out at home, and then beat Tennessee by 19.

Damn also, did KENTUCKY lose to another Big East school in the tournament AGAIN!!!!!!!!
