It must be nice to be in Ohio where everyday is groundhog's day the movie, and you get to forget the ass kicking you get year after year in championship games. The problem is now the public has seen it to many times they won't make the same mistake three times and let a sub-par big ten team embarass college football in the title game. You better focus on the Heisman because, you are not getting the Crystal football. To bad the Heisman trophy winner is coming back and only getting better, i guess you'll all have to settle for winning the Visa card best mascot Challange.

Go "THE" University of Florida Gators! (note THE has been stolen from OSU due to them getting smacked down twice in a year span for two titles. All "THE" privelages have thus been revoked and given to the ones who gave the beat down)

I don't think you should get to keep the "THE" unless you can handle Michigan from the "sub-par" Big Ten ; ) Plus, It's too bad the "public" doesn't really have a voice in the polls. The Bucks have a lot to prove but I think if they beat USC they'll be off to a good start in gaining back some respect. Last year was a re-building year after all.

florida 9-4

ohio state 11-2 your opinion does not matter.

I am gonna go out on a limb and say that if osu goes undefeated with wins against ranked teams like usc, psu, wisky, ill, and potentially mich they will be in the national title game again. Of course thats a big if cause going to usc and winning is very hard. The big ten is also much better this year than last. Either way florida isnt going to play for a title i see florida being next years georgia losing twice and not going to the sec cg. Then everyone will whine until the get selected to play in a bcs game, hopefully they will face a better team than hawaii if that happens.

Denial is hilarious! Did your Heisman QB Tim Tebow get you to the championship last year? Troy Smith got OSU there regardless of the end result, all teams have off nights. You chumps didn't even earn the berth last year. Don't run your mouth until Florida finishes ahead of the Buckeyes again about 8 years from now.

.. and I don't even have to say this, but 'THE' sounds foolish in front of anything but Ohio State University. Imitation is the highest form of flattery.

Ohio St. fans must be on that good dope they got up there(not pot) to believe that their team will be back in the championship game. I find it hilarious that you think you actually have a chance against whoever the SEC puts in the game, because we all know a 1 loss SEC team will be in the championship game, don't kid yourselves.

Ohio St. lays 2 eggs in a row and suddenly they are getting respect? Give me a break. They won't even win the mascot challenge award, they'll win the award for the fruitiest mascot, maybe, but besides that, just throw in the towel, the Buckeye's season will be over after they lose to USC. Capital One bowl anybody?

Both nice videos... but what I find funny is how two losses so quickly label tOSU as inferior, chumps and undeserving. I'm sure you, even as a UF fan, like everyone else thought tOSU were going to beat UF that game. Chris Leak played the best game of his UF career that day.

Anyone who is a student and fan of the college game only need too look back over the last five-seven years and see that not only did tOSU win a national championship as HUGE underdogs they also went on to win other bowl games as dogs against KSU and OK State. If any of you are betting men you would also know that tOSU has the best ATS record over the last five years of any college program. That means they are covering when dogs and winning by large margins when favored. Not bad.

Just because two of their three losses over the last two years have been on national tv shouldn't and doesn't mean they should have any lost respect. I will agree that the SEC is a stronger conference than Big Ten right now. I can understand your frustration playing a tougher schedule based on your conference but everything in sports is cyclical and in a couple years another conference will be the best, Big Ten or not. If you win your conference and all your non conf games and have one or no losses you play for a national championship, it's that easy... and don't post any sh!t about non conf schedules. Last year was the first you could even argue tOSU played a weak non conf schedule and that included a 1500 mile road trip to Washington Huskies, who at the time just beat Boise St and everyone thought it was a test for tOSU. tOSU can't recruit for the rest of the conference. When tOSU played UF for the NC it was the first time a #1 team played the #2 team in the country for the third time in one season.

SEC fans may not like it but there is a really good chance tOSU will be back for a third NC appearance. Even if they lost at USC this year (not bad for a non conf game) they run the table in the Big Ten, which is highly likely, then they could very well be back. This is assuming that the SEC will cannibalize themselves in their conference again. It’s great having the best conference in college football but it's also bad as your chances for having two or three losses is likely. As a fan I would rather have the tough conference too but just like any sport, you can’t pick your division/conference teams. You play the games and if you win you get rewarded.

GOOD LUCK to everyone and all your favorite teams. Here's hoping college football moves to an eight team playoff... but then we would have to find something else to argue about, LOL. Is it September yet?

Seriously, why does a UF fan and an LSU fan read a good article about at great player and then get their panties all in wad because it isn't about an SEC school?  tOSU will prove themselves on the field next year, you can bet the bank on that one, no matter what these all mighty SEC fans believe if tOSU goes undefeated or maybe even with one loss, then they will be playing for the title again....

Typical classless, Southern posts: so used to inferiority in every aspect of their lives, when they finally win a few titles, they have no idea how to win graciously. Ohio State has won one title and lost two BCS title games the past 6 years, mixed in with two BCS bowl wins. Congrats on your National Titles, but stop embarrassing your entire fanbase by talking such cheap smack.

HAHA classless....you are kidding right? What a classless post talking about southern people being inferior in every aspect of their lives. You are the one who is classless. It's not my fault that my team did not get blown in 2 straight BCS championship games. Even if OSU runs the schedule after losing to USC they will not be back in the game, unless every other team has 2 losses, because there is no way the coaches and media will put them in the game 3 years in a row to embaress themselves.

Fight ON!!

If every rebuilding year turns out the way last year did, I'll take it!!

LSU, based on pre-season expectations (I, personally, thought they were the best team going into last season), etc., should have beaten all 'comers'....they didn't.  They lost, at home, to Arkansas, ...they lost to a mediocre Kentucky team....they received a gift from Alabama (should've lost).  They were a talented team, but not one of the all-time greats, nor was Ohio State, who, admittedly, was fortunate to have the dominoes fall their way.(and you certainly didn't destroy us the way Florida did...now that was humiliating).  You won...good for you and LSU...you should be proud, just as we were when we beat Miami.  Every dog has his day (Of course we've had 7 such days, and you've had 4...both numbers to be proud of).

I know you think OSU 'sucks' etc., but if we truly don't belong on the same field as LSU, why did it take LSU three tries to finally beat us?  (And you were ranked 4th in one of the previous meetings...a tie...and lost to, arguably, the worst Ohio State team(4-6-1) in the last 25 years, in the other)

Let's see how Miles 'rebuilds'.  Have to question a guys coaching ability when he can't get a team as, ridiculously talented as last years team, to play at a championship level every week.

Sorry...gotta run...need 'cheetos'...must be the pot I'm smoking.....

GO BUCKS!!!!!

Love the video , from a UM fan. Nothing more funny than watching the unrealistic buckeye fans travel hundreds of miles to let the tears flow. How easily they forget about how mediocre the team is every year. Beanie wells for heisman? Are you serous? Nice memory agAIN. tEBOW IS STILL AT fLORIDA. This guy can freeze a defense with one step. Wells is about the 4th or 5th best RB in the nation, don't have a prayer. Enjoy the same team you had last year losing a couple games and once again being a mediocre team.

Our mediocre team beats on Michigan every year ... so I will enjoy our mediocre team, but will enjoy your program's complete and continued fall from grace that much more. Michigan fans ... haha. So cute.

I actually want to apologize to the Southern SEC fans ... my comment was wrong, just some "friendly" bantering gone astray. My apologies, seriously. I still do wish you guys would win with a little grace, which brings my next question: why the hate for OSU? The SEC has owned us for two years, I just don't get the extreme pleasure in that fact. We have owned a lot of schools for many years, and the only school we really brag about constantly whipping is Michigan, based on our storied rivalry.
