Kentucky's Rival

Absolutely Florida.  In my opinion, I still love Ricky P., so I cheer for L'ville when they aren't playing us.  Also my opinion, it can't be a real rivalry if it's not a conference game.  Again, my opinion, but playing Florida twice a year in games that really count is more important than playing L'ville once a year in Dec. or Jan.  The Florida games carry more weight, and as the original thread stated, they always have players that I absolutely hate - Walsh, Lee, Roberson, Noah, Calathes, etc.  Also can't stand Billy Donovan.  No team, at least for me, will ever be as hated as Florida.

IMO, to be a rival the teams must play each other consistently.  Can anyone remember the last time we played Duke?  Yeah, The Shot hurt every UK fan for life but are they really a rivalry? They're just a hated team, not a rivalry.

And all SEC teams can be considered rivals with UK.  We've all had our heated meetings, home and away. 

Of all schools, I say Kentucky's real rival is Louisville.  We play them every year.  It's heated every year and is often considered the biggest game of the season.  To say Duke, UNC, Tennessee, or Vanderbilt are bigger rivals than the Card's you have to be smoking something.
