Memphis got LUCKY!!!!

    I realized that but I decided to post the way I did only because it was similar to the posting I had been reading all year round from the teams that UCLA were beating. It never seems to be about how much better one team is then the other but rather the reasons for why their team lost which was to blame it on anything else other then their team not playing up to the level of competition. I realize that <st1:city w:st="on"> <st1:place w:st="on"> Memphis</st1:place> </st1:city> is a very talented team and very well could when it all.  With only 1 loss throughout the whole season and their only loss to <st1:state w:st="on"> <st1:place w:st="on"> Tennessee</st1:place> </st1:state> by 4 points takes a lot of endurance mentally and physically.  At this point they are very battle tested and ready. I give them all the props in the world.  I was just sarcastically dishing out what I had been fed all year long. That's why i made it as a statement of sarcasm in the beginning.  Now let’s all settle down and look forward to a Great Championship game on Monday!!!<o:p> </o:p>

How many Pac-10 teams did you watch this year???<o:p> </o:p>

<st1:place w:st="on"> <st1:placename w:st="on"> Washington</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on"> State</st1:placetype> </st1:place> was supposed to and did have one of the better defenses in the country.  UCLA beat them 2 times.  Stanford had 2 seven foot twins and UCLA beat them 3 times. Need I go on any further?  I hope not. nuff said!!  <st1:city w:st="on"> <st1:place w:st="on"> Memphis</st1:place> </st1:city> won..UCLA lost. Someone has to win and someone has to lose.  Life goes on and today <st1:city w:st="on"> <st1:place w:st="on"> Memphis</st1:place> </st1:city> was the better team.  A few years back UCLA was the better team.  And so it goes.  I made no bones about UCLA getting jobbed by the ref's it was sarcasm.  I made no bones about injuries causing them to not play as well as they should have.  They simply didn't execute and Ben Howland would be the first to say that.  So what do you want, a crown and gold staff???  <o:p> </o:p>
