Has anyone seen this kid pitch? I have heard nothing but amazing things about his stats and he has his first major league start tomorrow for cincio. Has anyone actually seen this guy pitch though and have any first hand opinions?

I have not seen him pitch but here is a clip from spring. Not the best video but it gives you an idea.

I sure hope he dominates, I picked him up a week ago.

I picked him up too and am hoping for some good numbers.  Take a look at Volquez too for Cincy, he is also hyped...he struck out 13 in his last spring start!

I drafted him in a 10 team league h2h. He is a young pitcher with good velocity. Definitely worth a roster spot. I'm just mad that I didn't start him this week. He's up for two starts next week, and is in my starting lineup. Go Reds!

Yeah I mean I certainly didnt expect that.  I watched the game live too, just really nasty stuff.  He was just untouchable.  He'll need to make some adjustments as time goes on, relied too heavily on the fastball and batters will just sit on it, ala the one HR he gave up.  But man, certainly good news for the Reds.  Too bad Dusty will find a way to make them lose, like he did yesterday pulling Cueto for Weathers.

I've seen him pitch a couple of times and he does have some great stuff.  But, this is MLB, and you usually don't come into this league and dominate.  He'll be good, but he's young and won't reach his potential this year...especially pitching in a whiffle ball park.  He'll be a good 3 or 4 starter, but he's not an "ace" yet.  He's a good keeper candidate, but I'll let others deal with his ups and downs of his rookie season.
