Ken Dryden in the fact that he is classy and modest. Roy is many things, but modest he is not.

His physical dimensions are more Dryden-like, but he really has a poise and style uniquely him.

Dryden all the way. Price has size and class. He has such presence.

Sorry but Roy has no class and I personally never really liked him.

He reminds me more of Dryden due to his size and demeanor. His style, however is uniquely his own.

After the way he played this entire playoffs, I think he's more the second coming of redlight Racicot.

Needs to get his head back in it this offseason, because his play from midway through the Boston series till now was hideous.

Man, you're pessimistic. He's 20 years old, didn't even play a whole season with the Habs...what do you expect? I'd say he did a whole lot better than most rookie goalies would do, especially in a fishbowl like Montreal.

If I were you, I'd be happy with having one of the best goaltending prospects in your system.

I'm not saying he won't be great, don't get me wrong, but regardless of age, height weight, whatever excuse you want to use, if you're the starting goalie for an NHL team, you have to be able to give your team a chance to win every night, and Price didn't get the job done.

What makes it frustrating is that the Habs really took the play to the Flyers for alot of the series, but every time a soft goal goes in, it's like a punch in the gut, and it sucks the life out of you.

Carey Price or poor man's Steve Penney?

Fade off into oblivion, kid...at least Penney has a Stanley Cup Championship...this guy's toast...I also like the mention of *Red-Light Racicot*, yeah!

That's true, but I'm reminded of what John Muckler said a few years back: "every year, 30 teams try to win it all, and only 1 gets it right."

I think the expectations on Price were probably a little unfairly high. Yeah, he should be giving his team a chance to win every night (and, let's be honest, those first few games against Boston he was the real difference-maker), but the fact is that it just wasn't his year to win a Cup.

There are some amazing goalies looking in from the outside right now, and I really think it's just a matter of time before he's considered one of the elite goalies in the NHL. Hopefully Gainey doesn't listen too much to Habs fans, who are often quick to condemn a player and demand his trade.

I love this Price  kid  and  yes hes  gonna  be a great goaltender.  I just wished he  would  play  with some  damn emotion.   Hes  so nonchalant  that half  the time  he looks  like hes  not even  trying.

I don't think anyone in Montreal is demanding Price's trade.  It's true, he needs to mature, and he will be great someday, but I'm saying that if you are the starting goalie for any NHL squad, letting in 4 goals or more half the games you play is unacceptable if you're planning on winning anything.

Let's be fair, some of those goals were really beautiful, but alot of them had an odour to them too.

The best netminder that  I have seen in Montreal jersey. And I have been cheering for the Hab's since 1972 -
