Michel Therrien has made it clear that Crosby and Hossa will be skating together but who should play with them on the right wing?

I said Dupuis, but I like the idea of Roberts much better when he comes back. He will be like the Malone for that line. Standing in front of the net and that. But until that day comes, put Dupuis on it.
It would appear like this:
Malone-Malkin-Sykora
Roberts-Crosby-Hossa
Dupuis-Staal-Talbot
Ruutu-Minard-Laraque
All lines have a net crasher and a speedster at least, as well as a playmaker! We have two heavily offensive lines and one that can go either way as well as an awesome checking line. You add in the offensive minded defensmen and we are perfect!

What about when Adam Hall comes back? Who gets bumped? Same goes for Roberts.

Adam Hall is out for the season with hernia surgery. Roberts will take Dupuis spot on the top line and if they need to bench anyone, they will.

I personally stated that Ryan Malone should play with Sidney Crosby and Marian Hossa awhile back but that before I had a chance to watch Pascal Dupuis play. I liked Malone at first because he gets to the front of the net and would increase the amount of scoring chances for Hossa and Sid. After watching Dupuis since the trade I woud put him on that line because the guy can do it all. He has the speed to skate with Sid and Hossa and would be able to distribute the puck and keep the puck in his own end. I also wouldn't have a problem with Gary Roberts playing on that line, especially in the playoffs due to his physical presence.

I picked Pascal Dupuis because he has impressed the heck out of me in the last few games. He is finally getting Hossa to be valuable again. Sid will make him want to stay a Penguin for a long time after the whole line gels together.
LET'S GO PEN'S !!!!!!!!!

Pascal Dupuis is the only logical choice of those given in the poll. Dupuis has earned a shot on Crosby's line with his solid two way play and excellent speed. Roberts suffered a setback with his high ankle sprain. It is unlikely he will see game time before the end of the regular season. By the time he's ready to come back, he will have missed nearly 4 months. Healthy, he doesn't have the speed to keep up with Crosby. I would also consider Talbot for a spot next to Crosby and Hossa. My lines would be:
1. Malkin centering Malone and Sykora
1a. Crosby centering Hossa and Dupuis
3. Staal centering Talbot and Ruutu
4. Kennedy centering Taffe and Roberts (when he's healthy) but Georges Laraque until Gary Roberts is healthy.

I agree with your first 2 lines, the 3rd line should be Staal centering Ruutu and Kennedy.
Line 4 should be Talbot centering Taffe and Laraque. You need laraque in, or else other teams get out of control, trying to hit our Stars just a little too hard. Dupuis is obviously the best choice at Winger on the Crosby-Hossa line.

Unless we have the room to just keep Laraque on the bench just in case. I would also like to change my 4th line from earlier:
Exchange Laraque for either Taffe or Kennedy.

The Penguins will have Dupuis on Crosby's line. I would like to see Gary Roberts there to see what he can do.

I would put Ruutu on the line with Crosby and Hossa! Ruutu has shown in recent games he has enough talent to play with this line. I do like Dupuis I think he was a great pick up but I think he should play with Staal. Ruutu on this line would be similar to Avery on Jagr's line in New York. He will add a little toughness. Regardless of who we think I am willing to bet they will try every possible combination by the 2nd period of Crosby's first game back. We know they like to shuffle those lines.

eh...... Ruutu is just not good enough. He definately has shown heart, but he doesnt have enough skill to keep up with Crosby and Hossa.
And he takes dumb penalties. The problem with him being on Crosby's line is that he will take a stupid penalty when we are in a good scoring position. Plus Dupuis has played with Hossa before, so those to conect very well.

i have no idea if and or when Gary Roberts will be healthy but frankly he has been less than a stellar pickup, yeah he has a lifetime of experience but that is also part of the problem,he's what 43,44 years old, then pens need faster, more skilled players and Roberts is well past his prime,no question he can provide veteran leadership but that can be done from the locker room too,go with the young guns

I agree. I think it should be Dupuis due to his familiarity with Hossa and how impressive he's looked since the trade
