How Bout that Tigers Juggernaut???????

The difference is the Yankees rotation had Pettitte, Cone, Wells and El Duque in it.  The Tigers have Verlander and four guys who will be league average or worse.  Should we even compare bullpens?

Hitters usually get out of the gate quicker than pitchers and this was supposed to be an offensive show.  With the pitching looking about as spotty as projected it can't be a good sign that the mighty Tigers' offense has scored only scored four runs in their first two games and are 0-2.

The Yankees will break the record for runs scored in a season (1,067) and the Tigers won't even be close to 'em...

The 1998 Yankees got smoked to the tune of 21-6 in going 0-3 to start the season. They made out OK over the last 159.

They went 124-46 the rest of the way (playoffs included)

Even though it's surprising (and more than a little bit funny) that the "Greatest offense in history" got shut out in its 2nd game, Tigers should still win a bunch of games before it's all said and done.

ok, so it looks like ive fallin prey to all the hype this past year.......and my fantasy teams may suffer..............

i dont have a lot of Tigers, only three, not all on the same team, thankfully.......granderson, ordenez and polanco.  i almost forgot, dontrelle is also on one of them.

and i have verlander, but im not worried about him.  my pitching rocks........but hitters are pissing me off......................
