CBS: What Is With The Anti-OSU Vibe?

You have to remember that CBS Sportsline is owned by CBS and CBS is a heavy SEC mark.  They have to be crying that Florida blew it against UMass.

It's comical that OSU gets reprimanded for advancing to three (four if you include their men's soccer team) National Championship games the past two years. Sure, I am disappointed that they lost, but with the exception of the beatdown that Florida gave us in the BCS title game, Ohio State was the underdog in every game.

I have to admit though, it is fun being a fan of a relevant power. Hated stems from success, and Ohio State has certainly achieved its share.

PS, my favorite moment from last night (I was at the game at the Garden): these Ole Miss yokul fans break out into an "SEC! SEC!" chant to taunt OSU. OSU then issues a smackdown, right after Florida blew its game against UMASS, and the Garden faithful responded with "SEC! 0-and2!" ... so funny these 4th rate SEC schools hang their hats on the success of LSU and Florida.

I know that CBS is deeply in bed with the SEC, but as a national sports media outlet, one would think they would make an attempt to be unbiased.  Then again, an unbiased major media outlet is an oxymoron.
