Bill Belichick is a disgrace to the National Football League. His only redeeming quality is the fact that he can put together a great team and win the Super Bowl year after year. But he has gone too far, with Spygate, leaving the game before it was over, letting his players perform the "lights out" dance on the Chargers bolt. He is a snake, a weasel, but unfortunately one hell of a coach for the Patriots. He doesn't know the meaning of the words respect, dignity, or class. He filmed another team's playcalls and got a free pass because the Patriots are so good. And somehow he weaseled his way out of the fact that he also filmed the Rams to beat them in the Super Bowl. I will never respect Bill Belichick and I don't see how anyone could. Go Raiders!
Objective: my a$$. I hope the Pats light up the Chargers once again and dance on their logo. If they're that sensitive about the team's logo, maybe they shouldn't print them on the field in the first place. Its funny too, the same players who complain about stuff like that will be the first one's to jump ship when the moneys not right. I don't buy all the false allegiance(s) and posturing that goes on in sports these days...and your just another "winey" West coast football fan, and that's "winey" as in sour grapes because the brain trust of the current Raiders ownership needs a frontal lobotomy. That stuff about the academy award winning Rams pregame documentary that was filmed here in New England is pure rubbish until substantiated. Good luck with that and beating the Pats over the next few years. I wonder if Al Davis would hire Coach Belichick if he somehow became available. I'd guess in a heartbeat. My sense is that he's somebody that truly loves coaching the game of football. By all accounts, he's a true student of the game, and doesn't buy into all the excesses and distractions that come with an NFL coach's elevated stature. I think many see this lack of patience, tolerance and civility and think he's being imperious and arrogant. I think he just gets annoyed with all the hoopla that surrounds the game and would prefer working out plays in the privacy of the clubhouse and then show up on Sunday and execute the game plan with perhaps a little less attention being paid his way. Unfortunately for him, his continued success will not allow that to happen anytime soon.
