We had the victory today and that !##@!%# rain messed it all up. We could've witnessed 1 of our 70's tops wins today haha.

Is the game a wash?  Or are they going to start from the 3rd inning?  Those stats would be a shame to lose!  Overall though, we looked like a team no one is ready for!

Wells couldn't pitch for TLR, I don't see why he'd do any better for the Rockies.

Yeah that is a shame.  Wainwright was on fire early, Pujols goes yard and it all goes back to zero.  AHH.

What better would a win and a Cubby loss today!  Would of been a GREAT first day instead of only OK seeing the Cubs blow it again.  Don't worry Cub fans, there is always next year.  HA

Is wells really pitching tomorrow, the guys terrible. I don't know why anyone would pick him up after the year he had last year...the guy has never been more then an average pitcher, whether he suffered in pittsburgh or not, no excuse. Watch him do good against us though like all pitchers that we used to have do.

Is this a new rule that we have to play the entire game all over because that will suck if we have to lose those stats and the lead in the game.  I always thought they picked up where they left off but maybe I missed something.

come on this is like watching the 2000 Rams play, this offense is the top scoring and will be the top scoring in the league. It will be like a game in old coors field when the scores were 13-15. As long as we get the last at bat we have chance. Yeah, I think all the games should be played on the west coast or in doors during the 1st two off the season so, we don't have as many rain outs. It was sunny and 75 degrees here is california not a rain cloud in site.

Restarting the game is standard procedure.  The most infamous one I can remember is 2003 when we played Sunday afternoon at Chicago and only played 3ish innings.  Why that game ever started I have no idea; it was miserable weather.  We were leading that game also, but here's the real stinker.  Eli Marrero tore something in his leg slipping and sliding on the wet outfield chasing a fly ball and we lost him for something like two months in a game that never counted.  This (I believe) was the season that he started out hitting like .600 in the first month of the season.  I don't remember for sure if the number was that good, but he was on fire (for BA) like I've never seen.

But I digress...this is not a new rule.  I say that even though I would swear I've seen teams pick up where they left off and play 1.5 games the following day.  However I can't point to any examples.

Dress warm tonight.  It's supposed to be 38 degrees by 10pm.
