Worst offense I have seen in 30 years

I don't know if we can win 50 games

The way it looks from the first game no we wont win 50 games. Giants would be hard pressed to win 40 let alone 50 the way things went today.

  Hate to say I told you so , but I did... I have been posting my utter contempt for the goings on with these front office Bozos for months... I only began writing on this damm blog because I was so frustrated with what I saw and wondered if anybody else out there was going nuts like myself at the lack of action in the front office to right the ship... I remember anticipating the winter meetings wondering what the "new plan" might bequeth us as fans and how with "Barry's" money to spend, we could really improve the product on the field... Four months later I sit here like the rest of you, watching the wretchedly steaming pile that is the '08 Giants and think is this why we parted ways with Barry to do this ? The poorest run operation in all of baseball top to bottom, thanks Brian, great job...

I think next year is even optimistic.  Too many holes, not enough available talent in the forseeable future (internal and reasonably priced free agents), and an organization with a limited budget (that continues to make bad financial decisions).
