Who is your favorite current Royal?

After posting something like this on the Mets board, I wondered-who is the most liked player in baseball? So I decided, out of my boredom waiting for the season to begin, to find out. I am posting messages on every team's board just like this one. If, after Ten Days, a player is leading the Polls by 10% or more, they will be nominated as their team's favorite player. Then, I will post polls in the general MLB boards, and after several polls, I will be able to find out who is the most liked player in baseball.

	I voted for Butler on this, just because I like how he approaches the game. He works hard, but enjoys it just like a big kid. Even though they get paid a lot of money to play, it is a game after all.

	I chose Brian Bannister because I have a feeling he could be a future ace for this Royals staff. The Mets got ripped off from trading Bannister for Burgos.

	I'm gonna have to go with Gil Meche.... I believe that he is one of the few Royals to have earned his money in '07 and made it to the All Star gam...... I just hope he can keep on throwin good stuff.

	I have to stick up for Teahen. He does what he's asked and works hard every day. How many guys do you know that can play 3B all their life, step in to right field and be an above average guy from day one? Not many. He just has a way about him that says he's a ballplayer. Some guys are blessed with good hand-eye coordination that lets them pound the crap out of the ball, others are extremely fast and that makes up for what downsides they have. Teahen just knows baseball. He's a baseball guy. He's one of the glue guys that may not get all the hype, but he's going to contribute every night.
