I personally think it's degrading to Belmont to say that we just played poorly. Granted, we did not play our best, but Belmont played very well, and they surely are not a 15 seed. They were extremely well coached and had great defensive pressure. To top it off, they used a series of backdoor passes to counter our pressure and hit some very good shots. Duke is surely falling into a late season slump. I'm not sure if its just exhaustion or what, but Duke proved it self earlier in the season, that is why they are a 2 seed. Saying Duke sucks and is overrated is just stupid. Some players are tired, some are hurt, and the team is suffering a bit, but more than anything i think Belmont was underrated and kicked ass tonight. If I didn't want Duke to have more shots to get out of their slump, I would be disappointed that Belmont lost. They deserved to make it out of the first round. Maybe the committee won't seed them so low next year.
