	It's not like he is going to play but to fill a spot y not better then paying a bunch of money. he should go to the Falcons where he has a chance of starting.

	I like Gus Ferotte . No , he has no chance of starting , but I'm sure he knows that . He has been a journeyman QB his whole career , but has gotten the job done when called upon . He's an upgrade over Kelly Holcomb , and maybe Brooks Bollinger . Can't be much worse . . . But still not what I'd really like .

	Good topic. I liked him back in the day but that was in a spread offense with real receivers. How is he with a WCO scheme is a question in my mind. He doesn't run well. I think he would be an upgrade for back up either way so maybe sign him and drop Bollinger. Use a second day draft pick for a project QB and don't loose him in the process of getting him on the practice squad!!! (Thigpen snagged by KC while in limbo last yr)

	yeah hes old but I'm an upgrade to bollinger. Lets get ferotte to have a solid back up. Then lets get another QB in the draft (3rd round or lower...maybe 2nd for flacco or woodson but I personally would love for us to get dixon in the 6th) and then release bollinger. We got T-jack, a good back up, and a rookie gaining knowledge we could see action if need be. Theres a good possibility that T-jack will improve enough to start another year but not enough to have most convinced he's the long term QB. If that happens we'll be much happier when this rookie QB develops into a strong backup fighting for a starting job (rodgers, schuab, romo, garrard, and soon to be quinn). It really pays off to have a young QB that gets to learn for a few years, at the very least he'll be really good trade bait.

	THE VIKS COULD DO ALOT WORSE THAN FREROTTE, BUT IF WE ARE GOING TO GET BACK TO THE SUPER BOWL AND WIN ONE FINALLY, WE NEED AT LEAST A QB WHO IS AT THE TOP THIRD OF THE NFL. THIS IS GOING TO COST MONEY, BUT , U GET WHAT U PAY FOR. JACKSON IS GOING TO BE THE REASON WE DO NOT MAKE IT TO THE BIG GAME, BECAUSE THE REST OF THIS TEAM IS SET ON TILT. WITH THE ADDITION OF BERRIAN , WE ARE SET.

	I guess he would be okay, but the only bad thing about bringing Gus back would be that when we had him before it really wasn't alot of help with him i would like to see someone new at Backup QB, but Gus is better than Holcomb!!!!!!!!!!!!

	hes not bad but not good either at 36. hes a definite upgrade over Holcomb and Bollinger but i would like us to take a look at Quinn Gray. he showed upside last year when he filled in for Garrard and would be a good backup who could possibly push Jackson some. i still like taking a QB
