Barnes suggested on a Monday conference call that if his team gets the same rowdy treatment Arkansas received in Austin in tournaments past, he won't come back to play anytime soon. Texas is supposed to travel to Arkansas for a game in Fayetteville next season.

"If the fans don't treat us well, we're not going to come. You can put that out there," Barnes said. "I'm serious. We've got enough money here, we can buy our way out of it. They'd better be good to us."

Rick Barnes just made the situation worse. I dont give a dam if we play Texas in the Regular Season! You do not Threaten Arkansas Fans!

What is Barnes thinking?  He is just asking for it now.  I hope Arkansas and North Little Rock give the Longhorns a long overdue RUDE AWAKENING!  I really think they do think its a joke, but maybe they won't if they get some return treatment in the ROCK. 

Barnes said it as a joke but thats just asking for trouble.  He probably knew Texas would be treated bad so he thought whats it matter, but still why add fuel to the fire.  It's kinda like joking with your girlfriend that you'd like to date her hot best friend.

Rick Barnes is a big puss.  Plain and simple. 

He thinks that the Texas program has evolved to the point to where they are above any of the booing and ridicule that other teams on the road face.  He will be in for a big surprise when he comes to LR.  I suspect that those who can't make the trip to see the Hogs will be sitting in LR showing Texas what a puss of a coach they have. 

As far as backing out of his commitment with the Hogs to play in Fayettville, I think that the NCAA should enact some regulation as to what reasons you can back out of a game.  I think that being a crybaby because your team gets booed is a stupid reason to cancel the game.  It will really show the rest of the country what an idiot he really is.
