Best basketball game I'd ever seen in person was Ohio St. at Toledo in 1999. Yes I said at Toledo. My two favorite teams in my own backyard. The Rockets beat 'em; I think the score was 64-62. And oh by the way, the Buckeyes finished that year in the final four. There's nothing to lose by playing a non-conference in-state road game, other than one game.
I'd love to see Ohio State play some solid MAC teams like Kent State, Akron, Ohio, Miami...those teams are always tough, quality wins never hurt, and there'd be little shame in losing. The Bucks definitely could have used a couple more quality wins in a season like this one.
