Can anyone out there believe that Sidney Ponson and Bartolo Colon find themselves on a teams roster before Kyle Lohse? Scott Boras is having one hell of an off season between the Alex Rodriquez fiasco and the continued non-signing of Lohse.  I can't believe that Lohse hasn't fired the man yet. He would probably be signed within days of that move. No matter what, Lohse winds up the big off season lose because in this era of overpaid mediocre talent, his agent completely overplayed his hand and now will be lucky to get a 1 year deal for a pittance of what he could have had for probably 3-4.

That is the price of doing business with the Devil sometimes you get burned. I am a Rangers fan and he has cost a lot of players down here money I know when Kenny Rogers signed with Minn. for like two million on a 1 yr. deal the Rangers had offered him a 3 yr. deal for 8 mill. a year and he turned it down b/c Boris told him he could get more. I give the guy 5 more years and he wont be welcome in Major League Baseball.

That is the price of doing business with the Devil sometimes you get burned.A-Rod and Kenny Rodgers made me smile this year. A-Rod worked his own deal and Rodgers dropped him. I love it.

I can, both are extremely cheap and require a contract for only a year for half of what it would cost to pay Lohse each year of his 3-4 year contract he is demanding. I read that Ponson dropped 20 pounds and is throwing the ball 93-94. If this is true Ponson may be a legitimate number 4 or 5 starter. I do think you are right about Lohse getting a 1 year contract now. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Yankees get him for a year at 6 - 8 million for insurance behind the young three.
