An 8-8 ACC season or better probably gets us to the NCAA tournament, were only 1 game under .500 coming off of a 1-point loss to then #1 UNC and then 2 convincing wins. I like our chances.

i agree. the way causey has been playing, we can beat a lot of good teams in the ACC this year. we have five home games left and 6 road games. hopefully we can get at least 4 wins off of the home games and 3 off of the road games. that'll give us an 8-8 record in conference play, and thats a decent record in the ACC. hopefully we keep up this nice style of ball we've been playing and get on a win streak. we're at UVA next so back to back road game wins would be huge seeing as we've been a horrible road ACC team for years. we have a good shot to make it to the tourney, and a good shot to win because we can compete with the best. the kansas and north carolina games should have been wins but those loses will still look good on a resume. good luck jackets on the rest of the year!

Im sorry to tell you but if you go 8-8 youd be 15-14. 15-14 doesn't get you a ticket to the big dance. In saying that, I think you are one of the better teams, or should I say one of the teams that I dont want to play because you can play with anyone.

Actually Tech would be 16-14 if we were to get a win at UCONN.

Never the less, we need at least two more wins than an 8-8 conference record provides. I say we need to finish 9-7, or win a few in the ACC tourney, plus UCONN. Its hard to get in without 18 wins, even in the ACC.

We are playing good now and much improved. That part is good.

Our strength of schedule I think is 44th and our RPI is 77th currently we play a tough enough schedule because it is the ACC so off course we have the respect from the committee. The Jackets must get a couple more key wins like say a Duke or rising UCONN team, a split or sweep of Clemson would look great for us. Also it is essential we finish strong it always looks better to the committee when a team finishes strong down the stretch. I think if the guys can finish (9-7) in conference play it is an automatic bid to the big dance, but I think that is a bit of a stretch for this team. But if they can find a way to keep winning and finish (8-8) they will have to win at least 1 game in the ACC Tourney maybe two and their is no way they can keep the Jackets from DANCING.

One Question guys I haven't heard anything about Mo Miller yet just wanted to see if you guys had any insider info on his ankle injury.

i think we might have to either win out or win the ACC...or atleast win alot and go deep into the ACC tournament...other than that you cant go 16-14 and make it to the tournament

I think Tech will need to win out except for Duke. The 11 losses, 12 with the Duke loss, are going to be tough to overcome, but our road record is going to be helpful, especially if we win out except for Duke. We would be 18-12 with a 9-7 road record. Two wins over Clemson would be big. The win at #18 ND is looking as a good chip to have.

8-8!!! Youre crazy. Georgia Tech is not going 8-8. How are they going to win 8 games? They are 4-7 (i believe) and one of the worst teams in the ACC . The ACC is pretty weak this year too! Well compared to most years. It is still top heavy with N.C. and the Dukeies, but the middle and bottom of the conference is much much weaker this year than the recent past years. There is no way GATECH is going to win 8 games. You can allready count their next game as a loss right now because its played at Camron indoor stadium against determined DUKE. &nbs p; Good luck GeorgiaTech.
