Who is Barack Obama?

Something that should be considered when you make your choice.  

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born
in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a  black MUSLIM
from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white Atheist from
Wichita, Kansas.

Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two
years old, his parents divorced.. His father returned to Kenya.  His

mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia.
When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia.  Obama
attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a
Catholic school.

Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is
quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also
attended Catholic school."

Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that

that he is not a radical.

Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this 
influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned
to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct
influence over his son's education.

Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham,
introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school
in Jakarta.

Wahabism is the RADICAL ISLAMIC teaching that is followed by the Muslim
terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since
it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major
public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined
the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim
background.   ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he
DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.

Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor

will he show any reverence for our flag.  While others place their hands

over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches. 

Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential
candidacy.

The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside
out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the
President of the United States, one of their own!!!!

Guess some one never told him to never mix politics and sports. Guess I will throw a warrning out there and I would ask every one to do the same. This board is for sports and not for some one to spill their trash about whatever party line they are! You want to talk about politics go to a chat room about it not to a sports page.

Sorry for the rant guys this is just idiotic and I for one dont want this on our board.

My point is not who wins or loses this presidential election. My point is this is not the Clinton Obama board.. This is the LSU board so  please take your trash some where else.

Sorry for mixing the boards. I don't want to see America go down the tubes, and I figured that we Repubilcans could use all the help we can get right about now.

Do you honestly believe that about Obama? Do you believe ANY politician is honest? If you believe that AND you have the gall to accuse someone else of living in a closed-minded bubble then all I can say is -- WOW!

Let me just say this about understanding the Islamic faith -- I understand that it was Islamic terrorists that have committed cowardly acts; commited atrocities, murdered innocent men, women and children time and again throughout history.

I understand that it is/was people of the Islamic faith that celebrated in the streets of America after the twin towers were destroyed.

I understand that there are Islamic terrorists beheading innocent people on television to try and illustrate a point.

What I do NOT understand about Islam/the people of the Islamic faith is why they do NOTHING to to try and stop their Muslim brethren from commiting further atrocities, why they do not speak out publicly against the actions of their fellow Muslims who are responsible for so much chaos and bloodshed in the world today.

Maybe you can enlighten me. Enlighten us! I doubt I'm the only person on these boards who have questions about Islam.

If there is any possibility that anyone who may be associated with the Muslim faith is considering running for public office in the United States then, given the track record of Muslims in our world, that persons affiliation with Islam should be a matter of public record. That persons history should be thoroughly investigated. That person should be closely monitored and every move scrutinized.

Why?

Because it is people of the Islamic faith who helped created the kind of world in which we have to be suspicious of everyone, the kind of world where we cannot afford to relax, a world which we have to watch everyone closely and scrutinze their every move so they won't kill, maim and destroy innocent women and children. That is about all I understand about the Islamic faith, that's all I understand and all I care to know about it.

I agree with everything you have posted. But let me explain why I have a problem with labeling Obama a muslim.

First, keep in mind I've been a proud republican for more years than I care to mention. I believe our government should provide us with infrastructure so we can travel anywhere in this country we care to go, and a military that will keep us safe from the wackos' that want to kill us. And thats basicly all. You can call me a fiscal conservative. But I've watched the Republican party change over the last several years. Why are we wasting our military in Iraq? Why are TRILLIONS of our tax dollars being wasted in Iraq? Why would our republican president take tax dollars targeted for our police forces here in America and give it to corrupt police forces in Iraq? I don't have a problem with the oil companys making multi-billion dollar record profits, but I do have a problem with Bush giving them billions of dollars in tax incentives. Why do they need that? Does that sound like fiscal conservatism?
