He is right though.   Junior Seau just wanted to be  Patriot to get a ring and I don't think he made them better at all, at his age he is almost a liability.  The Patriots would be far better with an average but young LB, then an old former all-star.

I don't think he has been great since he was with San Diego.

Whats up with that FreeneyBlitz?

You had a classy comment for the Bruschi article.

Be happy to be a fan of one of the only two nfl teams who actually compete for a championship every year.

I am obviousy a pats fan. I think the Colts do a great job drafting and putting a team together.

I wouldn't mind seeing this guy retire.  He was dirty about retiring and then going to the Pats.  I just don't find a lot of respect for someone like that.  He is old, and he had his shot this year...the Giants just took that shot away.  Retire and go teach football mini camps or something.

Hmm...let's see....I'm getting old, and I am going to retire....Wow, I feel 10 yrs younger now...I'm going to sign with the Patriots and try to win a superbowl...I'm sorry, I just didn't have the balls to tell San Diego that I wanted out.  I call that dirty.

I was a big Seau fan until they day he asked to talk with Miami ( back in 04  ). Then he made it out to be like The Chargers cut him for no reason.

I lost most of my respect for him thou the day the Chargers thru him a farewell bash and he gave his little speech about being done with the game and then the next day he signed with the Patriots.

One of the best LB to ever play the game yes he is . I still can't get over the fact thou that for years all he talked about was being a so cal boy and the Chargers and the way he left and then made the Chargers look a second time leaves me to question his integrity esp since he still plays it up like he is a classy guy.

Thanks for your insight on this situation, but aren't you talking about Miami and not San Deigo? Or did you not realize that he played for Miami?

I am glad that someone else has the manhood to call out Seau for being a backstabber. You shouldn't be able to retire and then sign with a new team in the same offseason. He owes the city of Miami something...Hopefully Parcells rectifies that wrong this seaon by making Seau feel very unwelcome if he plans on coming back to NE.

I'd rather see New England get some youth in at linebacker, than continue
to try to sign these old declining linebackers. It's time to begin a transition to youth,
for the future.

well, Bruschi is a class act, and Seau is an opportunist....

just an opinion of course, but still that's seriously what I think.

I kinda snicker at guys who weasle out of their current team and try to attach themselves to a winner...   Really, if you pay attention to the Colts, you will see the style I am accustomed to...

Draft very well, retain your positive influences, and resign your veterans...  fill in the gaps with the draft, and only use Free Agency when necessary....  ie. needs of the team are not available in the draft.

didn't mean to offend, although I see how it did. Im not much of a Patriot fan, but I am a players fan, meaning certain players gain my respect, and others draw my spite.

thanks

freeneyblitz...

I couldn't agree more. , I believe the Colts and the Patriots go about business in the same fashion, probably why they are both at the top every year, of course having Brady and Manning definitely helps

I just want to clarify that I went semi-retarded during my last post. My dislike for the Patriots is what started the rant about Seau and pr
