I have noticed you all talk about the recruits that are coming out of Findley Prep. Now not living in Vegas I'm a little out of touch with the schools there. So my question is, is Findley prep a private high school that recruits all these great basketball players, is it a regular high school, or is it like a junior college, or something else? If someone knows the answer I would appreciate the knowledge. Thank you.
And GO REBELS!!!!

To Vegas808,
Just a heads up: Trent is class of '09, so Wink and Darger would be gone by the time he gets here (hopefully...fingers corssed!). But what nucleus though! Hamga, Massamba & Trent. And if Kendall Wallce and Troy Cage can fulfill their potential...MAN OH MAN!! Here's to wishful thinking right? Let's hope coach Kruger can land him.
U---N---L---V---UNLV GO, FIGHT, WIN!!!!

The Rebels have a couple of really good options at SF for '09. Trent is good, and so are Victor Rudd (6'6" 185, from Sylmar, CA) and Solomon Hill (6'6" 190, from Los Angeles). If the Rebs get just one of those kids, they will be in great shape.

Basically put Findlay Prep College is the name for the basketball program under the Henderson International School. HIS is a K-12 prep school. findlay is the in between school and all it does is sports.
It is a basketball mill for students wanting to get recruited. They live together in a house (million dollar) have top of the line equipment, have NIKE provide them with stuff and sleep and eat basketball so it is no wonder they win.
Findlay Prep is named after Findlay as in Findaly automotive in Las Vegas and was founded in 2006.
Personally I dont think they should be allowed to attach to a private prep school and their accredidation and then use that to play real prep schools when all they are is basically a year round basketball camp with lots of money. Its Vegas stacking the deck again and also developing a feeder for UNLV.
