He's just getting used to them but he's already an all star???

Added.

I'll speak to Ben about him.....but you know how Ben is.

Yeah, Phantom, that Ben is a real pain in the backside.

He has a lot of fantasy teams. Thus the high rating, I think.

Added as well.

Congrats to Jon and Phantom for winning your leagues as well. Sounds like we've got some FF talent here.

Thanks, MightyRay. Hass wants to glog during games so that's why he wants to climb the pecking order a bit. He needs to be a superstar for that.

Add a lot of favorites too, Hass. That's another way to boost your status. (He was asking me earlier and I'm curious if he'll follow me here.)

Glogging during Padres games was the main reason I started wandering the message boards at first. Then I got MLB.TV over my laptop and I didn't care about all of the little dots on GameCenter anymore.

Then I think I followed SPEEDBLUE from the "Liberal vs. Conservative" thread and found you guys here. I think that's how it worked anyway. Then there was Biff and his Rosie av and I stuck.

Buford, I miss Rosie, don't you? Couldn't we have a Ghost of Rosie visit? I think she haunts "the loft..."

I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas this year!  I know my wife, son and I did, as we welcomed my first daughter, Marley Noel, on Christmas night.  She was 2 weeks early (and now a 2007 tax deduction, LOL).  Not very Corn-Fed, Hawk, she was only 6 lbs, 12 oz and 21" long, but is very beautiful.

Also, congrats on the league and the landing of Mark Prior to your Padres...if he resorts back to the pre-surgery days, you guys will be dominant this season.  Take care, guys and have a happy new year...Camp.

Camps! Congratulations... for some reason, I thought ND was the only dad-to-be.

I'm sorry if you told us and it slipped my mind. There's nothing wrong with 6 lbs, 12 oz. though. She'll be posting up under the basket in no time. Just remember, she's a Hawkeye, not a Lobo and certainly not a Cornhusker (unless she's good at volleyball, then you've gotta do what you gotta do).

If we see a lot of middle-of-the-night posts, we'll know why. I was lucky. I had a good sleeper.

If I'm still catching you here, Camps... did you ever run into Central Lyon when you played football?

That's GREAT Camps, congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!

One thing though Camps. Make her birthday something special aside from Christmas. I know several people, myself included, whose Birthdays are close to Dec. 25 and you can't hear anything much worse than, "it's a combined Christmas and birthday present" when you're a kid. You know how greedy kids are.......lol.....seriously though, make sure her special day is acknowledged.

My mom usually made my cake the day before my birthday because sometimes she didn't feel like doing it the day of my birthday for some reason. Can't imagine why (1 January)

LOL

Camp, congrats on the new addition to the family.  I do agree that you have to make the birthday celebration different from the christmas one when she is between 4 and 12 or so.
