ok so reading an article on SI.com and the mid-season awards have 3 Rangers in the top ten for AL MVP 2nd place being Josh Hamilton 6th place being Ian Kinsler 7th place being Milton Bradley.. I'm cool with that and seems about right but they have Carlos Quentin as number 1.. You've got to be kidding me.. Yeah he is good but he doesnt lead any of the offensive stats before monday. Then on the ROY ballot it has Evan Longoria as 1 Joba the tool at number 2 and i could care less about the third place guy... So either one this guy doesnt do his research and has no idea that David Murphy is a Rookie or he is just an idiot and doesnt believe he deserves a vote.  I mean come on this guy has more RBI's then Manny Ramirez and A-Rod... any one else have an opinion? Or an answer to why this is?

Besides SI being a  dumbass i think it has to do with what place each team is in. We are 3rd and TB, CHI are in 1st. If your team is winning they always pick a player from a winning team. If you go on numbers Hamilton is by far the front runner. But remember this is mid season and Hamilton has hit many in the jet stream lately so just wait until he gets it going again.
