Week 2, Game 4 of the Regular Season
Michigan Sports vs. Who got next?

After the one month process in which sixteen members drafted and assembled a team of all-time greats, we of the Ultimate All-Time NBA Mock Draft are ready for the voting process. Anyone may vote as long as they give a valid reason saying why they voted for the team they did. Please take a moment to analyze the following teams and their gameplans:

Michigan Sports (0-1)

PG- Isiah Thomas 34 minutes(all at PG, will guard active PG)
SG- Joe Dumars 32 minutes (25 at SG, 7 at PG)
SF- LeBron James 40 minutes (all at SF)
PF- Charles Barkley 38 minutes (all at PF)
C- Kareem Abdul Jabbar 37 minutes(all at C)

BE- Tracy McGrady 17 minutes (4 at SF, 13 at SG)
BE- George McGinnis 15 minutes (11 at C, 4 at PF)
BE- Chauncey Billups 7 minutes (all at PG)
BE- Richard Hamilton 10 minutes (all at SG)
BE- Andrei Kirilenko 10 minutes (6 at PF, 4 at SF)

Defense:

On defense we will be playing man to man, each player will guard the opposing player at their position. We have solid defenders at each position, and our tenacious D with create problems for the opposing offense. Our main objective is to force turnovers and create havoc amongst the ball handlers. We will try to keep the ball out of the oppponents main scoring threat in Shaq, we will try to limit his touches by playing physical defense, blocking the passing lanes, and defelecting passes away from the post. I plan to have Kareem in the entire time Shaq is, if Shaq is in longer than Kareem,(which he shouldn't because of the fast-paced game) than Barkley will use his large frame to matchup with Shaq. With that said our defense will run perfectly with our offense, because of our athletism we will outrun the opponent causing their "bigs" especially, to get tired because none of them are that athletic to keep up with our fast paced offense.

Offense:

On offense we will run a fast-paced style, where we will push the ball up the floor, using our athletism to outrun and out score the opponent. I think this style of offense will be most effective against the team we are playing, which in my opinion does not come close to matching our athletism. This plays to our advantage, we will get lots of points running down the floor with Barkley and LeBron getting plenty of high-flying dunks, Kareem gits perfectly because ran in the "Showtime" offense back in the day, and Isiah and Dumars will get their shots in transition. LeBron will be getting a lot of touches in this game, in the halfcourt game he will have the ball a lot where he can drive to the lane and kick it out for jump shots for his teammates, find the open man in the painted area, or finish himself by driving to the lane and getting lots of contact for and-1s, while Pippen is a good perimeter defender he won't be able to stop LeBron from driving.  I like using Hamilton and McGrady in this offense because both can hit jumpers in the fast-paced offense, McGrady can do more than just shoot for our team as well, using his athletism to create his own shots at times. Kirilenko is a great athlete and his defense will be huge in this game his abiltity to force turnovers will help him even more in our offense, which will lead to more fastbreak opportunities. Billups is the least athletic of the bunch but he will come in once in a while to slow it down a bit and use his physical abilities to out perform Payton. McGinnis fits perfectly in the offense as well, a high-flyer who can hit shots from mid-range this offense is perfect for him.

Who got next? (0-1)

PG- Gary Payton
SG- Mitch Richmond
SF- Scottie Pippen
PF- Alonzo Mourning
C- Shaquille O'Neal

BE- Mark Price
BE- Mark Eaton
BE- Glenn Robinson
BE- Shareef Abdur-Rahim
BE- Doug Christie

Please help us out by voting and giving a short explanation as to why.
Voting will run for 72 hours.
Thank you.

If anyone has any questions about my team and the matchup, then I will try to answer those questions. I won't be on here complaining about the votes or anything I will just answer questions and that's all.

I have to go with Michigan Sports on this one.

Specketa's team is very good defensviley, but in the end his bench just isnt deep enough to handle MS. The only guy i see making a difference for Specketa is Mourning. I think Mourning will abuse Barkely down low. But MS has too much fire power with his starting 5. isiah Thomas and Dumars are very good teammates and pairing those 2 together was genious.

Also him not putting in a gameplan makes me vote for MS regardless.

I'm going to wait until Specktata posts a gameplan. If he doesn't after tomorrow afternoon I will vote as is, although it will be tough for me to vote for Specktata unless Michigan just bombed his gameplan which I don't think he did (although I haven't read it yet).
