I actually came across a thread like this one when I was checking out the Cowboys thread. I don't know why I was there, just bored I guess but it got me thinking what my fellow Bengals fans thought.

There is no specific reason why you hate a team, anything goes!

So I started to think about it and my thoughts actually surprised me. So here I go with my top 5 hated teams.

1) The Steelers: Let's face it, it is fun to hate this team when you are a Bengals fan. Ben Roethlisberger may be my least favorite player in the NFL, sorry but I just think he is an Ogre that has everything handed to him since he entered the NFL, a good defense, and a good running game has helped him and his mediocre talent immensly. Also, my brother lives in Pittsburgh and I hate visiting him mostly because that city is incredibly filthy. Not to mention that they put french fries on everything they eat and think Steel City Beer is actually good!

2) The Raiders: I lived in San Diego for 5 years and every time that team came to towne, the entire city almost shut down. Raiders fans caused fights in bars, fights on the street and most businesses closed their doors on gameday because of those out of control fans. I love football and my team but come on!

3) The Redskins: I also lived in the DC area for some time and I have never in my life seen that many fair weather fans. When they have a bad season every fan I encountered switched to another team, and when they played well they switched back. I don't care if your team sucks or is good at least stay loyal man!

4) The Patriots: Bill Belichick is a Liar and a Cheat. This team cheated and when they got caught they lied about cheating. I am sorry but I think it is rediculous that a coach that directly affected the outcome of a game gets less of a punishment then when a player gets a DUI is absolutely ludicrous. And of course all the fans who still claim that the team never cheated or tries to justify it by saying "all the teams do it". Well if all the teams do it then does that mean you guys were just dumb enough to get caught?

5) The Browns: Battle of Ohio man! There was a time when I did not mind the Browns, recently in fact. But now that they have had a good season every Browns fan comes out of the wood work just to talk Smack! Hell boys, you act like you won the Super Bowl already! I have been on this site typing away for years and until recently I have not heard a peep out of Cleveland fans, I guess you can tie this one also under the fair weather fans category.

Like I said, I surprised myself when I really started thinking about it!

lol. How do you like this Bruce? The first three posters are Steelers fans. I'll actually stay in-topic though and respond with my top 5 hated teams:

1. The Patriots: Almost exactly like you, but I also wanna punch Tom Brady in the face every time I see it. I also haven't respected Belicheck since he shooed away Steelers medical staff who were trying to help one of his players who got injured when they visited us. The team is just loaded with jerkoffs and is in the worst part of the country.

2. The Bengals: Because their fans still are under the delusion that Ben is a mediocre talent, as you put it. lol. Seriously, though, it's been like this since after '05, when the fans here were as cocky (or even moreso) than the Browns fans are now. Plus, almost like Brady, but not quite, I get queasy every time I see Palmer's mug as well.

3. The Seahawks: Because they're a bunch of babies who can't get over that they got beat in XL, so they blame it on a handful of questionable but still correct calls by the refs. We're better than they are, and we showed it then and last season when we shut them out.

4. The Jaguars: Because they tried to make it easier for themselves by campaigning for a different playoff setup. Lazy bums.

5. The Browns: They're expecting huge stuff, but I'll greatly enjoy it when they find themselves struggling to go .500. They're the Saints of last year; an above-average team who got lucky with a soft schedule. Nothing more. Yet, they talk like they're the monsters of the division...yeah, right. Losers.

Alright I'll play;

1) Patriots- Cheaters---arrogant cheaters at that...they could have walked into the playoffs with their talent yet they still felt the need to cheat? Maybe the Red Soxs put too much pressure of them to continue winning for the Boston fans?

2) Cheifs- Live in KC and the fans here actually believe there is a super bowl in the near future.

3) Ravens- Didn't their team captain get away with a murder charge?  okay okay maybe he was innocent  but at least us Bengals didn't go that far....yet.

4) Cowboys-  Never liked them.

5) Steelers-  Brother is a die hard fan so I gave them some credit.  They play rough and physical---good team even if I dont' want to admit it.

Ravens- Didn't their team captain get away with a murder charge? We will not revisit the issue. Why? Because you're not qualified.
