Remember this game is being shown nationally, so the Willie talk  is not exactly overkill ( except in NY ).   That topic did need to be talked about, but yes painful to you and I and the rest of NY.

McCarver is brutal.  There was a time when he was pretty decent, but at this point he just likes to hear himself talk.  If the game is on FOX or any other national outlet and not on SNY, I usually turn on the radio.  Sometimes it's not synched right which is annoying, but having the commentary lead the game by a second or two is actually LESS annoying than listening to McCarver or Buck or Morgan or anyone else.

McCarver sucked then and he is even worse on Fox. Thank god for Joe Buck.
